Was there any real reason for Nick being a psycho other than to make Gabi look even more stupid compared to Sts. Will and Sonny and to give WilSon some more external rather than internal conflict?

Damn shame, because BB is worth more as an actor than all three of the others put together.

Finally watched this week.

I once again was reminded of how awful Shawn Christian is.

I just couldn't with Jennbitch and Eric wondering over Nicole and Daniel. Nicole and Daniel's friendship just reeks to me. And WTF was Jennifer wearing? My God. Awful. And I rarely comment on clothes. Yuck. She looked like a grandmother. And why are they dressing Nicole so awful? She looks like a PTA mom wearing 90s fashion.

Maggie, Julie and Hope mourning Nick as they stood over his dead body, was pretty good. Well done episode. Loved Julie getting in Sami and EJ's face. Maggie is such a buzz-kill. I'm so over her it's really sad. I liked Brady comforting her but it came off as manipulation to me to use her pain to get Brady to an AA meeting. I could have taken that scene the wrong way.

Will and Sonny are so boring. It was painful sitting through Hope interrogating Sonny. Guy Wilson is alright but he needs some acting lessons. Sorry. Very wooden at times and then other times not that bad at all. He's much more comfortable in the role but he stood out a bit too much.

Sappy JJ all gooey over Paige annoys me. And she couldn't wait to rush over to JJ after Nick's murder? I know that's supposed to be nice but I feel like it was just so they could share scenes together.

Kate Mansi is doing great as Abby mourns Nick and relives him calling her a slut. Good times.

I'm so glad EJ is leaving. He's incredibly boring and I still hate Sami with him, even though they have a lot of good and interesting scenes together. I like them as partners in crime but I've just never been able to 100% get behind them.

Nice to see Hope so much! Kristian was good in the scenes over Nick's body and it was nice that Hope acknowledged she wasn't there much for him. And maybe Maggie wouldn't feel so guilty if she got her head out of Daniel and Jennifer's ass. It's funny how every conversation turns to Daniel though. He was actually tolerable comforting Jennifer and Maggie but they couldn't wait to make it about him and talk about how HE nearly died. It just wasn't needed as those scenes really weren't bad until that.

Kate was fabulous telling Maggie about Nick being shot. So nonchalant. So uninterested. And Kate and Lucas scenes are always made of win. Lauren Koslow looks REALLY good lately. Very refreshed. Lucas and Kate just work so well together. I love that they are thick as thieves again.

Rafe and Jordan remain completely and utterly pointless.

Loved the little bit of Anne and Theresa. I'm also still not that interested in Brady and Theresa anymore and Eric plays Brady so smugly sometimes, whether he means to or not. Kristen will wipe the floor with Theresa. Guess that's why Eve will be around (though I fully expect Eve and Daniel).

Yes! JJ should be hooking up with an older woman, IMO, and Eve would be perfect. Jenny's head would explode and it would be glorious! And can you imagine Theresa's reaction? Perfection.

JJ is so boring now. I hate that. I don't like that Rory and Bev are now the "bad guys" for wanting to break up Paige and JJ (who have zero chemistry, IMHO).

And I want to add that while Wilson will be a nice step up from Gaston, he's not THAT great as an actor either and Ben is soooo boring. At least Gaston and Mansi seemed to have a bit of chemistry as they made out. But Gaston was just so dreadful when Abby was telling him about how she told the cops about him getting in the way of Nick and her's argument. Just soooo bad.

Yeah I dont like that Bev and Rory who have had JJ's back from day 1 are now the baddies. But JJ is a fickle friend. Just glad that Rory and Bev are still filming

I forgot to mention I loved this Kate line from Friday

Hope: You hired Nick, not once but twice. So why did you feel like killing him?

Kate: Well, since I didn't kill him, I don't feel like sharing that information. Are we done?

Ol Grandpa Black shows up. Ugh! What is his purpose? Brady doesn't need him. Marlena sure as hell does need him. WE DONT NEED HIM.

I don't see why Nicole cant just murder Daniel in order to keep her secret. Someone needs to tell her that's a perfectly viable option. Well maybe not perfect but it would redeem her in my eyes

How convenient that celibate Eric decides to have sex just as she's about to tell him her secret. I HATE on soaps how people always cut people off with kisses or sex when they are about to be told something vital

JJ's 2 minutes with Teresa was better than his 2 months with Pollyanna. He works better as a bad boy, with a bad girl

I watched all of last week, and aside from the usual Dannifer/Nicole crap, it wasn't too bad. Lauren Koslow was fantastic, as always. Kate was just great to watch not giving a flying !@#$%^&*] about Nick's murder.

Yesterday all I could wonder is why they even brought him back. He's on about once a month and has no story. Yesterday was the first time he had been on in weeks and then he disappeared about 15 minutes into the episode. He's so pointless.
