Jennifer and Daniel should've ceased to exist back when Jack came to town. The sooner DAYS grasps this, the better because I am growing tired of them force feeding Dannifer. I turn my channel when they are on.

I wish they'd cut their losses with Daniel and Jennifer. For me, Daniel is even more unforgivable than Jack was, which says a lot. And I haven't cared about Jen in years. She was much more engaging and compelling a long time ago with Frankie or Peter Blake.

Too bad Jason Brooks will never come back. LOVE him!

And not making Liam Peter was a waste, even though Liam's just fine as he is. What a waste of Mark Collier. I'd rather he have been Mike or hell a Daniel recast at this point. Shawn Christian and his orange glo need to go away. He's not a good actor. He never has been. IMO. I know he has his fans and apparently the housewives just love him (rolls my eyes at this).

After all of the years when Maggie was irrelevant back in the 80s and 90s, seeing her get her own story was great....until Dannifer was attached to her.[stuck around her neck like an albatross] I do love when she picks on Theresa.

Not a single positive comment about them. How is this show so completely clueless as to how much the public LOATHES this pairing?? I don't even understand.

I have thought at times, like some of the commenters, that it's now become an inside joke of sorts. They HAVE to know this pairing will never work. If they do, and they're serious with how they present them (and I go back and forth on this), then they just don't seem to care.

I do have a theory about this... remember the big stink that was raised during the Bo/Hope/Carly story? Who was in charge of the show at the time?

Yup. Gary Tomlin.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, so I'll go in another direction for the moment. Even though I'm a Bope fan all the way, I welcomed the Carly angle because it was a viable romantic threat to the two and it was rooted in history. Needless to say, Tomlin and Higley F'd it up by not realizing Peter Reckell needed to go off the canvas because he was already over his guarantee (an example of the penny pinching NBC does to keep Days on the air). When Peter came back, the momentum was ruined and the triangle story didn't work.

I think Tomlin wanted this and the fans got in the way, so he's saying "You're not going to wreck any more of MY good stories..."

The problem he needs to realize is this couple is a joke. I'm a Jack/Jennifer person all the way and hopes the show gets wise and rehires Matt Ashford, but even if that weren't an option Dannifer is awful. And I LIKE Shawn Christian and Melissa Reeves. Just not together.
