It gets a little bit of nostalgia interest, like most of these castings Y&R has been doing for the last 4-5 years, or however long.

Leslie. This would explain her being married. Maybe she wants to give the baby up for adoption and knows Neil would never allow it so she married some random man to make Neil think that man is the father.

Sharon. I doubt it is her though. There really is no need to give Shick a pregnancy unless they will use a miscarriage as a means to garner her more sympathy.

Victoria. I don't want her to be pregnant because it would mean even more airtime for that boring quad/quint.

Chelsea. She doesn't need another fetus gestating in her uterus.

Since writers, especially recycle writers like to revisit storyline. I'll pick Victoria, remember she didn't know who was Reed father JT or Brad.

That is too funny. TNT showed a Smallville episode this morning and it was one of the three that featured HS. I was like who is playing Clark's mother? There is nothing wrong with stunt casting inconsequential roles. Look at the mainstream press that this small role has garnered already. It's just good business.

I definitely think a baby switch is on the horizon. They have already done that with Shick and Faith. No need to repeat that. That's another reason why I think it is someone else.

well, and off-canvas quickie romance... really shows how invested tptb are in the black cast. LOL

i dunno, but whenever a character that's still viably 'sexy' has grown kids these shows always throw in a baby to remind viewers how young they still are.
