No, that's not what he was saying. Not with that statement. What he was saying was that he has no respect for the genre, for the history or for soaps.

He picked the old guy as opposed to using the name for a reason. It wasn't to drove home people being nominated every year undeservingly so, it was to be disrespectful as he felt disrespected by not being nominated and winning as he believes he deserves.

Saint may be the wrong word. But that interview makes him sound like he never pulls shot on the YR set.

Point is, he shouldnt talk when he says MM should just keep quiet. He should do the same

That comment about not knowing actor names unless they are around 10 years. That's BS way to be.

Not saying you have to be friends but be professional which I say would include getting to know your co-stars names especially when they play your family members

His Ego Oy Vey. It reads to me like he is too good to learn their names.

I guess we agree to disagree. Personally I think Tony Geary has been over-hyped the last few years and his disdain for Luke's history just irks me.

He obviously knows her name. He refers to her by name. He has on twitter. He complimented her too.

He likely isn't personal friends with her. He's likely nothing more to her than a coworker. So why or how would he have any idea how she feels or now she is? He's not going to speak for her. He did this interview to clear up rumors about himself and the show.

We don't disagree. Not on the points you made here.

We do disagree if you don't believ mm not reveling to him by his name wasnt a calculated move.

He says:

EB: I hardly know the girl. I just don’t know people’s names until they have been here for 10 years.

Like I said its BS that he doesnt know the actors names that he works with. I dont care if they are friends or not. But learn their name. Thats just professional.

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
