He picked the old guy as opposed to using the name for a reason. It wasn't to drove home people being nominated every year undeservingly so, it was to be disrespectful as he felt disrespected by not being nominated and winning as he believes he deserves.

Not knowing the names of his costars is not a big deal. Not everyone is going to be best mates with everyone. And nobody knows the names of everyone they work with unless it's a store with like 10 people. I work with heaps of people whose faces I recognise but I couldn't tell you their names.

He obviously knows her name. He refers to her by name. He has on twitter. He complimented her too.

He likely isn't personal friends with her. He's likely nothing more to her than a coworker. So why or how would he have any idea how she feels or now she is? He's not going to speak for her. He did this interview to clear up rumors about himself and the show.

Well the cast is so huge, plus there is a huge crew to be considered. You can't expect him to know everybodys names.

And who's hurt by it? No one! Yes, EB is egotistical, but at least he's not egotistical and a perv! Way too much emphasis by some on the wrong issue here.

Oh Eric. God bless you for opening your mouth. I love this guy for his interviews, if nothing else. He just says whatever he thinks and I have to respect that he is 100% true to himself and not kissing up to anyone, not even the reporter.

He totally hates MM, of course, and truly believes that Muhney's mission in life was to get EB off the show and take over his role as chief kingpin of Y&R. I don't know if that is quite true and certainly the writers were not positioning MM like they did Genie Francis with Jess Walton's role. But I do think MM kissed EB's ass at the beginning and when EB wasn't forthcoming and was grumpy with him, MM turned on him.

LOL @ EB being all "Who? Hardly know the girl" and then "You gotta be here 10 years before I even address you directly" when asked about Hunter King.

Another reason why EB needs to retire.
