I finally watched. The mob stuff is absolutely cringeworthy. I just roll my eyes when Sonny says sh-t like, "I may not be in a position to put you in the ground, but that doesn't mean I can't BEAT ya down!" Yawn.

Lucas can obviously do so much better but I'm surprisingly not minding him and Brad, though I'm not sure why Lucas is so thirsty for him. Had to roll my eyes at them having the same back story though.

Lucas and Brad better watch out though, because there's another gay couple in Port Charles... Silas and Nathan, who once again looked ready to make out in their scenes today.

Haha, I loved Mac showing up at Scotty's door, punching him, and leaving 15 seconds later. laugh.png

I've only watched about 15 minutes. Tennis trumps cartoons in this household!

Duke beating on Jillian even though Shawn was holding Jillian had to be the biggest joke of all. Poor Ian, just can't get anything right. Why doesn't either one of these menacing mobsters have more muscle? Why didn't they just let Shawn beat Jillian? He needs no help at all, and I would be totally moist watching Shawn beat break Jillian into 3 equal pieces! I must have had spontaneous orgasms for 4 consecutive days after Shawn beat the crap out of FrankenTodd!

Sam and her see thru clothes just really bug me. She has 5 pieces of clothing only. Dirty ass!

Lucas is looking like a booty call from hell. Hope Brad slipping him the pipe took his mind off of his missing sister. Not difficult to see how badly Lucas is going to be looking in this triangle.

I dont think lucas came across that bad. The guy is faced with a lot of stuff all at once and he meets someone who can actually get EVERYTHING hes going through himself. Yes hes a bit clingy at the moment but thats also ANOTHER THING brad of all people should understand.

Brad was already planning to play the Lets just be friend speach the way he was looking at Lucas

The predatory and disgusting way they handled Brad's behavior with Michael (and Felix before Michael) showed that.

I'd rather see squeaky clean than some implication that being gay is about perversion, especially since, other than one rushed kiss, the gay men on this show are all talk.

A. Elizabeth /C. Happens (re: the mob war) you're right cuz I can not stop laughing all I thought about

"I came

I saw

I hit him right dead in the jaw"

See I caught him with a right hook, caught him with a jab, caught him with an upper cut, kicked him in his ass, sent him on his way cause I ain't for that talk.....

Yeek yeek

Have not watched friday's episode. But brad is kim's adopted son and mr. Wu's adopted great grandson? But kim died at the end of the asian quarter story at a very young age, he was a criminal with no conscience and he adopted????

    • He always looks a snack to me lol!  Yes Blue is his color for sure! Those arms of his are huge *must not think dirty thoughts*
    • Maybe trying to ramp up the nostalgia factor? The only original characters left on the show were Angela, Lance, and Chao-Li. But FC hadn’t been watched by too many since 1987 and the finale didn’t bring back any old living characters like Emma, Cole, Peter Stravos etc.
    • 5-13   That was kinda meh except for the coda. Liam figuring out that Hope knows he's dying. And ending it on that. Good acting.   Oh, Luna. smh. But I guess I do look forward to see how she expects to wiggle her way into Finn's life. And uh oh at Sheila and seeing the wheels start to turn again. Honestly, he's been looking like a whole snack the last few weeks. And I can't decide if it's just the heat here lol or if he's just been working out more than usual.  But blue and shades of it has been such a great color on him.
    • For the Nurses Ball, I don't like what GH has done in recent years having U/5 professional dancers in the back of all the staged numbers -- nobody we recognize but they are wearing medical garb wardrobe as they dance alongside the GH characters. I'd prefer to see only the GH characters dancing and singing imperfectly.
    • Oh that's a good point! I was saying only that I'd prefer that the product placement not be heavily featured by the cameraperson during a stressful scene, because it takes me out of the moment. I don't mind it being part of the background of scenes -- most of the time, I like it. I saw a similar tweet from another BTG viewer that said something along the lines of Tide being for when there is (emotional) mess to clean up...  and Febreze is for the calming after the mess.
    • These writers and Frank (especially Frank) have to go!!!
    • I remember the articles and fan letters complaining about Alfonso so I wouldn't be surprised if Alfonso didn't want to talk about her time on the show. She was probably used to being the fan favorite. She got a lot of flack for being the "Ana Alicia replacement" and that hurt her from the beginning.  It's odd that CBS would think that hiring Alfonso would lure Days viewers to the show, but they kept doing that to their daytime soaps (as did NBC with ABC actors) and it rarely worked.

Kristian Alfonso was a popular daytime star from a show popular with a younger audience that was brought on to an aging primetime soap with the expectation that their huge daytime following would carry over. I don't think she has spoken much about her time on Falcon Crest despite being the show's new pet that became front-burner lead right away. I also don't believe she was hired on the cheap given her daytime popularity and following.  Notice how most of the former daytime actors and actresses that were on the CBS primetime soaps were from ABC or NBC. CBS had so much of their own daytime talent they could have used on their primetime soaps but for whatever reason that didn't happen and I think demographics played a part in that (CBS daytime skewing older than ABC/NBC).
    • Has anyone read Sharon Gabet's memoir? Is it worth reading?
