Fridays episode was awful, the forced raccoon stuff was so cringeworthy and in every scene Jane Elliott looked like she forgot her lines.

And that Olivia and Julian stuff, pointless filler. Does anyone else find it weird that some big shot publisher is confined to a one office room in a hotel? They don't even try with his "career ".

And between Ryan, Jackie, and Anthony... they make a good case for the need of a gloss filter. I can already tell Lucas is going to be dull as !@#$%^&*], he will fit in nicely with the rest of the male characters.

I can't believe that the only storyline that interests me right now is Sabrina 's. RCs evil plan has worked, make everything else unbearable, to make her storyline tolerable.

Okay, I'm done complaining lol. One more thing, I hate Franco, but miss Todd. The OLTL worked so much better as their former selves, especially John and Todd. Although, I find Silas the least insufferable of the bunch.

LMAO Anna said “Diana Miller” and then Tracy said “Michael and I have the perfect diversion” to Michael.

I cannot with a whole newspaper office being inside a hotel but at least it was fun the way Sonny and Olivia kicked them out. Bernard was horrible, though. That smirk... ugh. Where was the great subtlety of yesterday?

Yay for Lucas! He seems cool, smart, collected, in control. Will it last?

I'm sorry, but when did Anna go from being unsure about Franco's guilt to hounding Scott for an arrest warrant? Did I forget a scene? And it's really not necessary for Heather to go over everything once again. She needs to either shut up or stab the sh!t out of Carly and GTFO. I didn't have a problem with Michael threatening Scott. His mother is gone and Michael is one of the few actors on the show that are likeable enough for me to be able to watch them yelling lol

Poor Tracy. Only brought out as a convenient plot device to get Luke to go down to the boathouse. Does Tony Geary have it in his contract that every time he appears he should be involved in some kind of action scene? I didn’t expect Carly to still be there when Luke walked in. Now we're probably gonna have to deal with Luke vs Heather, as Luke saves the day. rolleyes.gif

Why do they feel the need to point why characters who don’t really get along with Carly would care if she were brutally murdered? They did this like three times with Dante, Scott, and Luke. I would like to think that most people would not be happy about the possibility of a person they know being murdered even if they did not get along.

Wow! I have got to be careful what I wish for. I spoke of the Qs doing nothing about the destructive raccoon, and the entire Q existence for the eppy was about a damn raccoon! WTF?! Why couldn't AJ stumble upon Carly?! Was it really necessary to take the cartoon route?!

And it took 24 hours for the show to disappoint me again :). Yesterday was a waste, but Lucas' body is amazing!!!!!

    • It was reported that Jane Wyman absence in the final season was due to health (it's documented that Jane was diabetic) but I believe her episodes being cut was a budget mode move. Similar move Dallas pulled in its final season, it was reported that Barbara Bel Geddes retired due to health (it's documented that Barbara had a heart condition) but I say salary dump. Jane Wyman only acted once after Falcon Crest, a 1993 episode of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, but she lived another 14 years after that. Barbara Bel Geddes did not act again after her last episode of Dallas in 1990 but she lived another 15 years after that. The trifecta of suck at Lorimar was Les Moonves, Leonard Katzman, and Michael Filerman. It was a pattern across all three CBS primetime soaps in the off the rails plus budget mode era to salary dump the long-time female cast members and bring on sweet young things hired on the cheap.
    • To be fair, more than half of them are dead now.
    • Kat may be a privileged elitist but that's not entirely true.  Kat first met Eva when Eva was snooping at Nicole's desk, so Kat's first impression of Eva wasn't very good.  Plus, Kat's instinct to not trust Eva was 100% right.  Kat's attitude toward Eva had nothing to do with Eva not "bowing" down to Kat, and her feelings toward her half-sister is very justified......minus the making fun of Eva's clothes of course.
    • They said that this has metastasized to his bones, but the type of "aggressive" prostate cancer he has is actually very common and is treatable, or at least manageable. So the headline is misleading.   Apparently this type of cancer is hormonal which makes it somewhat treatable? But still, of course, sad.  Thinking of him and his loved ones.
    • Kat is a spoiled brat princess and Silk Press Sheila called her out on it.  Silk Press Sheila is someone not to mess with. I was actually scared for Kat when she was alone with Silk Press Sheila and recording their conversation.
    • It is funny that Stephanie and Philip still hide/blush/get embarrassed at the sight of each other.  Meanwhile, Kate's pouring coffee for Rafe at the pub as if they're only casual acquaintances.  Although, if Kate blushed every time she saw one of her former lovers, she'd be permanently red.
    • Great thought.  I mostly forgot about Kate's cancer.
    • I figured because Kate received her cancer treatment at the hospital that she decided to “give back” by being on the board.
    • Someone posted years ago that they remember Pamela Peters (Peggy) was having some sort of issues behind the scenes during the rape storyline and barely participated onscreen when it played out. Trish Stewart (Chris) seemed to carry most of the storyline along with Dick DeCoit (Ron) and David Hasselhoff (Snapper). I think the poster also mentioned that Anthony Hererra (Jack) said that Pamela Peters one day looked into the camera and exclaimed she didn't know what she was doing and walked out of the scene.
