Frank/Ron the two GAGAS of daytime. All this mega buzz it just doesn't stop for these two. I am glad to see Michael Fairman put Lorriane Broderick's name with Tomlin/Whitesell. This woman should be promoted to co-head writer. She has been a huge asset to DAYS in the last year and half.

Best use of baked goods? Really? That deserved its own category?

Every year they create weird ass categories. "BEST EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS TO GET A SHOW ON ITS FEET AGAINST ALL ODDS"

That one made me laugh too - how does he even come up with this [!@#$]?

How is Billy Miller a supporting actor? He was the lead in that story!

Why is Jess Walton runner up? Jill is miles ahead of Dr. O.

Every year they make up repetitive categories just to give Cartooni props.

Hilary is far from worst new character. Kiki deserves that by a landslide.

Kathleen Gati has been a revelation as Dr O, and there are so many scenes to choose from to show her strengths. That scene with Faison and the mask gets my vote for best piece of acting by any actor on GH this year, and then there was her comedy bits, the multi-syllabic put downs, the singing of the Peggy Lee song, the whole evil mother thing...she was the character of the year on GH.

The list is also right in singling out Finola Hughes (and this is not the only list that has singled out these two ladies). Hughes played Olbrecht pretending to be Anna and she was actress enough to not play them the same way. And then you compare that to people like Roger Howarth and you see how miles ahead Hughes actually is.

I'm glad they had so many positive mentions of PP shows and tried to point out some of the better aspects of the shows, and their role in the industry. I'm especially happy they included Kelly Missal.

Don't you love how we keep hearing the non-reactions to Victor's return as a worst of the year, when no one says anything about how most of Port Charles has barely reacted (and in some cases don't even seem to know) to Robin's return?

motion picture star, Kelly Preston

lol

Max Ehrich as Fen Baldwin – The Young and the Restless –Watching the disintegration of his parents’ relationship and the downfall, gave Max Ehrich plenty of meaty material come Emmy time! And yes, Fen on drugs, and prison time were involved too!

Can someone translate this to English?

Great production, great writing for the most part, and great performances by one of soap’s most talented casts, made the show the soap experience of 2013.

Ooh I don't think Ron will like that at all.

Hilary Curtis on The Young and the Restless –This whole storyline from the blogger, to Rose, to Hilary’s revenge with the help of Mason (Lamon Archey) which gave story to the Winters clan was just not needed, and this character isn’t either, even though Mishael Morgan plays her to the hilt!

Yes, let's dump an interesting, ambiguous black female character who isn't related to dead weight characters, can go anywhere storywise, and has the potential to be popular with fans. Great idea.

Lol he basically said the Winter's clan didn't need a story.

Biggest asskisser of 2013

It was better than a few other Best of 2013 lists, nice to see Jess Walton and Eileen Davidson and the writing for Kristen's Revenge on DAYS get recognition...but still...plenty of head scratchers.

viewers on a wild ride filled with glorious shout-outs not only to the show’s rich history but to ABC’s classic soaps of yesteryear, including “Port Charles,” “Loving” and “Ryan’s Hope.”

That's like showing a raven taking a [!@#$%^&*] and saying it's a homage to Edge of Night.

He trashed the history of those three soaps, completely battered OLTL, at least that soap was being put together

Thank god AMC wasn't touched
