JJ was such a douche to Bev & Rory. Im glad they told him what's what & hopefully we see more of them.

I swear Theo with that earring is going to be the new Ciara with the envelope. Over the next few weeks we are going to see him super fascinated with that earring, pulling it out of his pocket to stare at it, lie to Abe about what he has in his hands, etc... He'll even have a fight with his cousin Johnny over it, who plots to steal it from him

I would ask them to keep the river set forever, if I didn't know every character would go there from then on to think, fight, or die for the next year and a half.

Sami's dream sequence today was a cut above so many things I've seen on this show lately. Definitely one of the few times this show has been visually exciting the last few years (usually I can watch the show by listening to the dialogue with another browser tab opened and not miss anything).

Also, don't like how they're already defanging Theresa AND JJ. Ugh.

Yes! Loving the river set. I'm surprised they could afford it, but they must have saved tons over the past two years using that same blue office set for everything.

Could they have used parts of the Kristen crash site for the river set?

I thought I would be done with the show once Kristen left but I have been loving this Nick storyline. Sami and Kate make the dream team and help keep Gabi half interesting.

I'm not really enjoying anything else though. Rafe and Amanda from AMC are snoozeworthy and JJ and Teresa are no longer stirring up trouble.

The idea of Sami driving around a large group of children really scares me.

Putting Kate and Sami together a week after Kristen left the show was such a smart move because they're similar characters in that they drive story, are charismatic and make whatever is thrown at them work.

I hope something blows down to make JJ and Theresa bad again. Maybe, have her re-gain her memory and seduce Dr. Dan again...which will cause JJ to have resentment? LET IT HAPPEN, soap gods.

All caught up to the end of Monday. The show has done really well to try keep things ticking in light of the inevitable post-Kristen slump. I pretty much enjoyed everything.

Not a fan of Rafe, but this slowburn old school romance with Jordan is really sweet. Chrishell is breathtakingly beautiful, especially stripped down to basics.

I love all the whole Sami/Kate/Gabbi/Nick stuff - it is probably the most camp stuff Tomsell have done during their tenure on this show. If I had a stick up my behind, I'd say it trivializes death and makes murder look like fun! but I am really enjoying it and taking it for what it is.

Great to see Rory and Bev again - I hope they pull JJ back to the dark side again. Theresa on the other hand is a tough nut to get a read on - Her helping Dr Dan makes it appear that Mr Sheffield and Draahmaah got through to her and shows character growth, but it's quite clear this isn't easy for her. I wonder what Anne is going to do - MLS looked genuinely hurt by Theresa's comment about real friends.

On Friday Brady grabbed wht appeared to be a crack pipe and a bag of coke from that drug den. i guess we know where this goes. It struck me that alot of people in Salem have addiction problems: Maggie, Lucas, Brady, JJ, Theresa, Nicole (to a degree...).

Not sure I would want it to play out like that, but when JJ and Theresa were anti-establishment (for lack of a better term), they were so refreshing comapred against the typical teens in daytime. I hope they get their edge back.
