I am not here for Molly and her melodrama. Why is this bitch screaming at the top of her lungs? Put these characters back on the offscreen backburner!

Real mobsters hit each other upside the head

Just....no

LMAO at Obrecht calling Anna out on her hypocrisy. "Go tend to that gremlin you gave birth to and stay out of my daughter's affairs!"

I hate that the show went the obvious route and revealed Ben as one of Dante and Lulu's embryos. I really wanted a twist here like she used Dante's sperm so Lulu and Dante would have to deal with having a child that is his but not hers. Little drama in the way they chose bc no way is Britt going to keep that kid.

"You and your gormless sister are a Blight on PC". laugh.png I have to say some of the lines are pretty great

LOL.

I'm down for her becoming a doctor or lawyer so we can make it 6-8 years away. I sure as hell don't miss Kristina and wouldn't miss Molly either. They don't need to bother recasting. Alexis is becoming just as worthless as her daughters, which is a shame. Ron clearly has no idea what to do with Liz, Sam, Carly, Alexis ... not that they weren't in desperate need of a break from the Guza mob whores and bed hopping and awful couplings that did none of them any favors. Not that Franco is doing Carly any favors now. And Silas sure as hell isn't making Sam interesting, who never has been. Seriously, why is Sam even still around? Nothing against Monaco.

And I really nearly burst out laughing watching Duke and Sonny try to be dark mobsters. Man, what happened to them? Watching Duke in old clips and now is like night and day. I'm going to assume this stupid mob story won't end well for him. Just a hunch.

I can't with the Molly/TJ crap. Are we supposed to care that they're breaking up over a story that happened almost completely off screen? WTF? And then they got back together anyway? Yawn!

The rest of the episode... yawn!

A riveting behind the scenes look at today's location shoot. It's a little spoilery. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151903631438731&set=vb.82481248730&type=2&theater

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.

    • It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.
    • Yeah, as you wrote, an Israeli win would have been a political disaster. Congratulations to Austria. 0 points from the televoting to Switzerland was a disgrace. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show ... but I'm also glad that Eurovision season is over

    • Hahaha Sorry if I was too negative, I just started typing and typing once I got going hahaha
    • @dc11786 Thanks for taking time to answer my various questions, along with giving your thoughts on the different writing teams. I wonder why they didn't just have Ryder and TR leave together if Jane was going anyway. The discussions over the last few pages have made me more interested in watching these episodes than I have been over the years - without the extra details and analyses provided, these years can be difficult to decipher (not helped by how often Jo seems like a side character).
