He's probably going to bomb, will be written off, and Moss will make a "triumphant" return. Whether in six months, 2 years, 5, it's gonna happen.

The downside?

I have to laugh. Thorsten Kaye as RIDGE? He looks nothing like Ronn Moss and isn't going to have any those hilariously bad mannerisms of his! Is he going to be using that Euro-accent of his? He doesn't even look that far off John McCook's age! Not to say that Ronn was young, but he looked a lot younger than he actually is, and stayed rail thin...and then we've got basset hound faced, scruffy, husky, Thorsten Kaye?!

Of all the actors and all the recasts, this one has to take the cake for being a WTF.

I wish him luck because he seems a terrifically nice guy and a decent actor, but recasting Ridge to him seems so stupid. Why not bring him on as a different character?

I often go with Brad Bell on these decisions since it's his show...but this time...good grief.

I guess I prefer my recasts to remain the same nationality. No one wants to see Ridge and Taylor start talking in Irish/British accents

He was offered a stable job with good pay and more than likely already had a description of the character - just didn't know the name.

I haven't watched B&B for years. But, this is gonna lure me back in. Love Thorsten. I really do.

But....IMO. AMC is DEAD. Too bad because I really wanted to see MEK as my Thaddeus again.

Not for me. SL wasnt in S1 and AMC worked. Plus if they need Zack, just recast
