It's beyond ridiculous! Not sure why TIIC [on any soap] believe exit stories are not important. I want Connie gone like yesterday, but a bullshit story of her big journalist story going awry? She was a major character who ate the show whole for a good 14 months and the exit is for the damn birds? Absolutely ridiculous. A reporter overnight when she's really been off screen quite a bit. Same with Johnny. The man kills 3 people, slithers back into Carly's bed as means of an alibi, gets an attack of conscience, spills all and is escorted off so that Todd can get the remainder of his story.

Remember when exits and reveals kept us glued?

I agree thishas becdome a problem for soaps in general--but RC has (surprise, surprise) always had issue with this. I admit, I guess a part of me should be pleased--but, as you say--it is hard to swallow sometimes when you feel a story and character are forced on you--when they could have and should have cut their losses back then--only to have the writer after all of that just sorta shrug his shoulders, say "meh," get tired of his fave toy and have that character or storyline just kinda quickly be swept under the rug.

I've seen how Dylan Cash looks these days (he was always ugly as sin, though). I still need to see the commercials.

Just imagine him a bit taller. Sadly, nothing else has changed.

A quick google image search turned up a pretty unflattering photo of Dylan--recent, I assume--but what is this infamous commercial?

I googled as well

yikes
