It's Ron so I wouldn't be shocked if Lilly Melgar popped up again on GH, either as a doppleganger or the ghost of Lily. Ron loves his winks and nods. I have no idea though. It probably means nothing. They could have extended invites to as many past cast as possible because this year is the 50th anniversary? I don't know how the fan club thing works though. Who decides which cast goes?/is invited, etc.

Lily never died in the car with the bomb. She exited via a trap door on the bottom but sustained some injuries and has been in a coma elsewhere for all these years. Her return will coincide with her waking up and she will come to town still very much in love with Sonny. Incoming triangle with Sonny and Olivia. Next twist? Sabrina is the child she was carrying and Patrick will have to deal with the fact that he is dating a daughter of the mob, that he hates. Soapy goodness

That's a lovely idea, but since it doesn't impact/involve Franco, Silas or Kiki in any way, the time devoted to the story would be insufficient to hit all those wonderfully soapy beats. It would be "Look. Lily is alive!" "Look! Olivia is jealous" and then probably followed with a quick exit of some sort. Olivia kills Lily (again) or vice versa and is sent to prison to be reunited with Steven Lars and Sonny descends into madness and is shipped off to Ferncliff.

Oh Dr Clay was the original doctor that treated Lily and has been on her case ever since. We will see him have files about a mystery patient which will play out for a few weeks till he gets a phone call and runs off about said patient showing signs of waking up. We then see its Lily. He also has been infatuated with her so he will want to protect her from Sonny which will cause some tension for he and Sam.

SUBSTANCE! And that is what GH is lacking. There is no substance (the only time an attempt was made, Roger fucked it up). As much as I would love for Carly and Ava to be rivals, I'm not sure how many times I can take Carly running up on this woman for no real reason. She is in Ava's face about Ava supporting Fishface getting married at a young age? WTF?! Bring these two women together for legitimate reasons, please!!!!! That would be old school soap. Right now, Ron is just happy to be getting Laura and Maura in the same room. Idiot!

Put Morgan in Ava's bed so that Carly's head can explode. Now, that's substance! Give it some real meat, so that Carly and Ava can tear that mansion apart. Right now, they really have no real reason to be enemies and it pains me to see the actresses trying to compensate for what the "writers" aren't doing.

Felix Felix Felix Felix Felix...sigh! Sabrina isn't even on and his entire existence revolves around her. I don't have anymore coherent thoughts on this :(

Sam? Why are you looking up at the sky talking to Jason? Honey, I loved him too, but dude was a killer. Cut it out!

Michael Easton aka John McBain aka Caleb Morley aka Silas Clay aka... !@#$%^&*] YOU!

Nizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Mind your own damn business, girl!

This made me realize that in one year ME has played four characters on this show: McBain, Caleb who then turned out to be Stephen Clay and now Fiddler Silas. That's ridiculous even for soaps.

That Felix/Michael/Brad stuff was quite ... something. And Felix is nothing but a plot point. Of course his airtime is in regards to nothing but Sabrina. He's not friends with Michael, he's using him. All of this [!@#$%^&*] is so ridiculous.

Zzzz to Carly/Sonny/Connie honestly.

I love Tracy and AJ but this damn war is STILL going on. Still. Can we figure this out and call it a day? It's like one twist after the other. Give it some breathing room. With Ron it's like all and then nothing. And of course no Monica. Guess she filled her guest quota. Meanwhile, I'm starting to totally prefer Carly/AJ (total new version of Alan/Monica, everyone is spot on who said it), although I still like Liz and AJ even though they put me to sleep. Like most of the show did. I even struggled to remember Britta/Nikolas who I actually liked watching. (PLEASE give us like all new scriptwriters! I will preach this forever)

I've pretty much blocked out/forgotten the rest. Some Kaka of course and Morgan/Dr.NotJohn blah. LOL at this paternity crap. NO.ONE.CARES.

IT.IS.OBVIOUS.

Like everything else.

Anyway ... oh ... Britta/Nikolas was nice. Hehehe at the ending. I was wondering about ....

Phew.

    • I realize I harp on this, but I think he spending is relevant.  She's not just buying new wigs. She's building a mansion, she's funding a sports complex, she's paying for operations for people she doesn't know, she's caring for Peaches, she's buying apartments. We saw ?her get ONE check for ONE million dollars. That's it. I may be wrong, but I thought they said she'd get a payment every 6 months. Regardless, she could not rule the roost on $1M, and the show is not doing a good job there. Pretending that doesn't matter? I can't do that.  All they had to do was add a couple lines about payouts and payments.  In other news, I would love to know just how much Anita was putting into that trust as well as what investment got her what has to be an incredible return.

    • I'm honestly surprised Nikki and Victor have not divorced yet... maybe their brief opening of the marriage did something for them.

    • It reminded me of what the Pollocks got away with all the time on THE DOCTORS: long ass flashbacks that don't really add anything to the scene except time.  Because, if you remove the flashback, what's left?  Monica finishes packing Alan's suitcase.  The end. Oh, well.  At least I got to see a young Patricia Elliott (ex-Renee, OLTL) in that Aim toothpaste commercial (not to mention, a shirtless James O'Sullivan (ex-Jeff, AMC; ex-Pete, OLTL; ex-Jerry, SOMERSET) in the commercial for One-a-Day vitamins, lol).
    • Well, I can't help but think it would've been written different with CB still there
    • I could've sworn FV let other people direct either here or at OLTL. I may be wrong. IIRC Kimberly is now very active directing multi-cam/sitcom work. I'd forgotten she even did Netflix's One Day at a Time.
    • IIRC MVJ said the million was just the first piece of what Leslie got or was already owed, something they did make explicit in dialogue but not too explicit. Still, I am past worrying about it. I do think they want 30-yo elder millennial Peaches in her Sophia Petrillo wig to be a point of pathos for Leslie. In theory I am fine with that, and don't dislike Peaches despite the jarring physical disconnect and need for a recast lol. But I do think they do a lot of B&B-style whizzing from Point A to Point C with Leslie on this kind of stuff - in one scene she is raising hell, in the next she is weeping over Peaches. There's very little transition to that sometimes that allows for the nuance, and that can be done much better and they can go much deeper with Leslie (and most characters). The newer/younger audience for the show may have less issue with this kind of quick change than we do.

Thank you.   That was part of my reasoning as well. I think about the days of Kevin, Joey, and Jessica on OLTL or Lucky/Liz/Nik/Sarah/Emily on GH or the Last Blast Kids on DAYS or the Glow by Jabot kids, and it takes me back. Sure I started soaps due to the older cast with their divas, but I do like to see people around my age back then, too. Great memories.   So I love a good relatable teen tale. Bullying. Hormones for the Bad Boy. College choices and internal conflict.
    • Thank you for the information.  I did listen to the entire interview with Miss Roux -- way back when it was first released.  But I am unable to recall her mentioning Connie Ford, and don't have time nor effort to listen to the entire thing again, just for one small morsel. So again, thanks for responding.    I do recall Roux sounded extremely fragile and perhaps a bit wounded in the interview. I almost felt guilty for even listening to it.  So perhaps that has some influence on my reluctance to listen to it again.  She seemed troubled, to say the least.
    • Boxer-briefs, huh?   Well...called it on Cane/Giggly Heffa hooking up so not surprised.
    • Do you have Addie’s first air date??
