I like JJ. I even like Rory. Rory made me laugh today.

I like JJ's resentment of Daniel a lot. Maybe because I resent Daniel.

Anne's dislike of Jennifer doesn't bother me, either. I would normally think it was terrible, but Jennifer's been written so poorly for the past year or so that I have a hard time sympathizing with her most of the time. I have a hard time with her lack of grief over Jack, and her almost immediate pursuit of a relationship with Daniel after Jack died.

I know I should get over it. I don't even think she shouldn't be happy EVENTUALLY. But how long did she wait after Jack's death to cast her eyes Daniel's way? Not long at all. And Daniel is NOT the greatest guy in the world, no matter what they try to tell us. He's a womanizer, and the longer the show chooses not to acknowledge that as a flaw in his character the more I notice it. Oh, sure. The occasional reference to it is made, but then it's excused so quickly that it's never really dealt with.

The characters that point out Daniel's flaws are supposed to be the ones we hate, which isn't working at all.

No, everybody loves them, LOL! I think because WE see his flaws so clearly that we don't understand why the other characters don't. Other than that the writers just love Daniel, and they won't consider that the audience isn't ready to nominate him for sainthood yet.

I was just thinking I cannot wait until Anne & JJ share a scene together. I hope that the writers make them team up to demolish Dannifer. Is it bad that I also wish that Anne would just bed the young, probably inexperienced JJ a la Mrs. Robinson (or Dorian on OLTL) just to stick it to Jennifer? I just want JJ to break Jennifer any way possible at this point b/c I loathe the character so much.

That's the line that got me too. Even though I don't care for John either, I wanted him to hit him square in the neck. Faux-Roman sought after Marlena in years. Why claim her as yours now? Ugh so annoying. I so wish they'd just bring Wayne Northrop back as Roman and give Josh Taylor some other, lesser role on the show. IMO, he does not deserve his paycheck b/c he doesn't do sh*t and is only still there b/c he's good friends with Corday. Nepotism at it's finest.

I think that's my overall problem with DAYS (and soaps in general nowadays) too. No one goes to f-cking work! Like go to work. I miss the days when soap characters went to work and clashed with workers in a good working-environment story. Jenn & Anne is alright but it could be WAY better had they have Jennifer working more than the three minutes she works a week. Same with Daniel too. No one clashes with him. Instead, everyone praises him. My wish would so be that Mike returns home and resumes his rightful place as Chief of Staff, but doesn't kiss Daniel's ass, calls him out on his sh-t, and installs a fraternization clause in the hospital contracts, thus making Jennifer or Daniel to have to step down.

Some work gets done. Hope works. Kayla works (though she really ought to check Jennifer's hours). Maxine's always at work. Caroline's always at the pub. Justin will be working.

But other than that, I don't know who's on the job much. The show would be so much more interesting if they had stories come out of the work that the characters do. They do that to some extent with Hope as a police officer, but then they make her (or Roman or Abe) seem incompetent, so that instead of being drawn into the investigation, you're pulled out of it because they don't know their jobs and you're busy rolling your eyes, LOL!

I don't think an age for JJ has been stated. He could easily have an 18th birthday this summer to lead into an affair with Anne

The JJ/Dannifer storyline is just a fun soap storyline. I'm really liking the JJ actor -- the way he is just so randomly irritated and disinterested all the time reminds me of Paul Rudd's character in Wet Hot Teen Summer and I'm enjoying it.

The Eric recast still isn't working for me and I cannot see Jensen Ackles' Eric becoming this Eric, and it's causing me not to believe Nicole's attraction to him either.

Days isn't quite as on fire to me as it was a couple weeks ago but it is still solid right now and all of the storylines feel like they have direction.

They could always age him and de-age him like they do with his sister. Whatever age the writers feel like giving him at that time lol. Casey Moss is 20 in real life.

Well (again) I just hope that Anne plows JJ, teaches him the ropes in love-making just to make Jennifer's head spin. One child of Jack's stanning for Daniel is enough, but two would drive me bananas. I want JJ to hold out as long as possible in not liking Daniel. I don't want him to bend. That would be a nod to reality because not every child eventually grows to like their parent's spouses. Look at YR's Victoria for example. For years, Victoria loathed Ashley. She didn't grow to like her to the last few years she was on the show, and whose to say she still does like her. I don't want JJ to bend EVER. Daniel could save his life 1000 times, I don't want JJ liking Dr. Hairy Chest.

Just finished this week's batch of episodes.. I'm really glad to say that I think the quality of the show is top notch, even after the huge climax of the past couple weeks. I always worry with Days when they have amazing climax storylines and then after its over things seem to fall pretty quick. This week was still VERY well written and acted - and while still not quite as action-paced, was amazing soap opera.

1) The whole Sami arrested storyline is starting off SO much better than I thought it was going to! It was actually suspenseful... with the police officer in the OR and Roman/Hope not able to find the blade. It was so well written! It was pretty odd of Stefano's comment of "cut it off." But the shooting and aftermath was drama filled! And it's also an umbrella storyline (which I LOVE) as news of what has happened seeps through the cast (Sami to EJ, Kayla, Hope, Roman, Marlena, Kate, Will, Sonny, Gabi, Eric, John, Brady, Jennifer) I love how it involves the entire cast. Ali Sweeney's acting was on spot - her facial expression when Roman told the wife that he had died was amazing! I really look forward to Lucas finding out and the follow up on this storyline with Sami in jail.

2) Days looks SO good at night! At least half of all episodes should take place at night in Salem.

3) Loved the moment this week between Eric/Brady in their brotherly moment. I hope they continue to form these two together as close brothers. They really have a lot in common.

4) I LOL'ed at Sami's line "I'm gonna end up on death row again!" Love how the writers respect the show's history like that. Sami on death row is one of my all time favorite Days storylines.

5) JJ is such a little punk.. and I love it! Casey Moss is doing an amazing job acting true the character that I actually believe to be Jack/Jennifer's son. He is talented and I agree with others, that I would LOVE to see some JJ/Anne interaction and scheming!!!

6) Speaking of Anne - seeing Anne and Maxine were great this week. I LOVE these two in their recurring roles (and I love Rory, JJ's friend, too!) I really really want to see T given a contract! He could be a love interest for Abigail or Gabby... I really hope we see more of him!

I wish that they'd put Abe with Maxine in a slow burning love story. Abe needs love too, and I feel that Maxine is that woman--not Kayla, who at one point the show was testing her with. That's just gross. I view Abe as an older brother to the Brady clan. Either that or bring back the recast Celeste and put those two together, much to the chagrin of Stefano, who disapproves of one of his exes falling for another one of his foes and viewing Celeste's growing attraction as disrespectful to the memory of Lexie.
