laugh.png at the ridiculousness, it's okay when Sam can dance but when Frisco goes up and sings a song he knows by heart and has sung before, it's OMG that made no sense!!! nbe.jpgrolleyes.gifwink.png we're not the one comparing apples and oranges wink.png

Oh and saw this gif, how did Sonny remotely look depressed or whatever when he saw Brenda, he's practically smiling

I don't even [!@#$%^&*] care. I love that song and the performance looks fantastic - it looks like he outdoes Wagner, which is no mean feat. The whole cast appears to be jamming. I am beyond psyched. If they intercut it with Laura kicking Luke in the balls and Robin staggering into the Ball, I'll be on Cloud 9.

I don't think many care about Molly's son and the performances that followed. It's more of a why can't Sam learn a sophisticated dance in 5 minutes and 20 people learn and perform a song in 30 minutes after it's created, something that I think would be much more difficult because of the # of people involved. Outside of that, there really is no argument - just be fair. FRon aren't hacks when its convenient. They are just hacks!

Noah Drake has DID, and I'm guessing he calls his alter Rick Springfield.

You are very welcome smile.png

He didn't look depressed-he look like he wanted a piece of that-dress and all. Honestly, I wouldn't be mad at Sonny for being depressed. Who would want to spend a four hour Ball in between Brenda and Carly throwing food and bickering at one another?

An interesting sidenote on GH/OLTL history that likely won't matter to anyone but me, but is tangentially related to the marathon episodes - while waiting on the new OLTL I was digging into some of Thom Racina's record to nail down some stuff I was curious about from his GH run and stumbled upon an old interview he did with DC several years ago. In it he claims he was already involved with the show, at least unofficially, during the summer of the Left Handed Boy in 1980, specifically during the legendary Wyndham's Department Store segment. This pleases me, as I absolutely adored what I have seen of that summer (as well as the Cassadine epic, obviously).

Regarding that Carly/SJB comments from pages ago, while I will always see SJB as Carly, I'm not sure if she has the vulnerability to play her now.

What worked with SJB's Carly was her charisma and the mix of little girl lost and your worst nightmare. She could tear you to shreds verbally, but she was never truly happy, she was too damaged and didn't know what would fix it. She was also very clearly the "other", in a town full of (self)-righteous heroines. She was trash.

Most of that is gone now. She's generally right in how she sees people, she's rich, she's not exactly happy but she's certainly very secure in her life, she has trophy kids. If there is any upper crust in PC, she's probably it.

The key to Carly is taking most of this away and showing her fight for what matters to her, because ultimately, Carly's worst enemy is always herself.
