Thank God - Lisa Nicole's life imploded thanks to this show... it was embarrassing to watch her defend her husband and businesses.

I'm not blown away by the trailer, but I always end up liking this show.  I'm not surprised by Jackie's marriage - last year showed serious cracks.

Ooooohhhh I hope Simone lights into Quad's fake ass.

Complete THUMBS DOWN to them relegating Mariah as a friend for the THIRD year in a row. This is just petty. Mariah is clearly the most entertaining character, that's why they can't let her go. They know these other dry heifers like Jackie, Heavenly, and Quad can't carry the show. At least Toya's diaper booty ass keeps up mess and does her job.

I co-sign the Mariah comments. It's not fair at all. Beyond that it looks good. I'm glad tired ass Lisa Nicole is gone! Thank the lord!! After Jackie's husband dogged her the [!@#$%^&*] out last season I'm not here for this. Jackie and Simone will always be my favorites and I don't want anything bad to happen to them. They're two of my favorite reality tv people ever. They're classy, they throw good shade and they're real. Jackie better [!@#$%^&*] leave Curtis this time. I'm done with this!

Count me in as one of the people who feels that Mariah has got majorly shafted since S2. She CARRIED this show on her back the first two seasons and was the reason I tuned in! I don't know which producer told Quad she was fabulous enough to carry the show, but that person needs to be fired for false advertising! Quad will always be a Melissa Gorga to me -- a jealous second-tier wannabe who threw her close friend under the bus in the misbegotten belief that the audience are actually interested in her. I also can't stand her fakery and "OOO Miss Simone honey chile" stuff which is indicative of someone who adooooores the sound of her own voice.

Don't get me wrong, Dr. Jackie and Dr. Simone do bring it in their rational, careful way, and I find their RL drama the most emotionally real. But you need a real drama queen to balance that rationality out. Neither Heavenly nor Quad are that drama queen imo... but Mariah Huq is.

Isn't Mariah one of the producers?  I just find it odd that she couldn't place herself as a main wife... unless there's some sort of independence issue that fell out from Season 1 or something.

Her producer title has always been a vanity title. While she has a say in production matters, she has no say in casting, etc. Purveyors of Pop really did her dirty after s1, and the production team that came in during s2 onwards have done their best to phase her out. It is because the people at Bravo (along with Andy) adore her so much that they keep having to bring her back. Otherwise, they'd phase Mariah by now.

I hope this season is yet another season of Mariah shining bright and carrying the show and it results in them being forced to put her back on full-time. Also, I hope this is the last season of Quad. I want her a** gone after this season. Much like Shannon (on OC), she sucks the energy out of the group and prevents any progression amongst the women. I hope this is the season the women wake up to her bull and toss her off the island.

I would like to slap whatever producer convinced Quad she was the star of the show. She would be NOTHING without Mariah and it's such bullshit Mariah keeps getting the shaft. Has any show ever had a truly consistent friend of for multiple seasons? Usually you either get your main cast spot or they let you go. They still have Mariah film full time but give her friend of billing, it's ridiculous.

    • Then 87 is the year you're looking for. Vanessa leaves town in Jan 88. When I saw Jenny counseling Dinah about George making the pass at her, all I could think was that Van would be pissed Ross' latest fling was advising her daughter. Cop or not.
    • As much as I hate Phyllis, seeing Billy Flynn in those boxers briefs in today's episode, has me almost tolerating her. BF looks

    • Dear sweet June, you'll get it right eventually.  In the meantime it's a good chuckle.

    • Damn, Leslie went in on Shanice... poor girl! Leslie really can't handle stress or certain emotions well, she lashes out. I also think it's weird she wants to know so many details about Eva's love/sex life. Vernon was sweet to June. It was nice (realistic) to see a customer complain to her though while she's still trying to establish herself. I'll be that guy, but for me personally, my enthusiam/excitement over the show has stalled yet again over the last couple weeks. For the majority, it seems like we're in a holding pattern until Winterfest. It's like they don't want to rock the boat or do much until then, which leaves us in a quiet period here. Are sweeps a thing still these days? Seems odd that we're having a slow November. That ending was good, but I saw that coming... in theory it should have a quick resolution, but I'm guessing Leslie will expose it at Winterfest and it'll get throw out of proportion haha.
    • Yes. Why? I don't really care. Vanessa is also acting dumb, trying to run between tables, on a date with Ross in one room and a business meeting with Alan in another.  One of the few times Van is written as less than the smart woman she was.
    • I've been specifically looking for the episodes for Ross and Van together, because they essentially both raise Dinah at that period and the recaps around her typically avoid the Dorie years, the carnies, or Alan-Michael and Cam. I'm really just trying to trace a throughline between Paige, Wendy, and Gina. The last two are "easy," but it just messes with my timeline when Dinah thinks Alan-Michael would kill Ross. Then again, that Alan-Michael slept with his own stepdaughter, so...
    • Anyway...they literally mentioned the secret room today on Days and yes, this show needs a Kristen lesbian story lol.
    • Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.
    • There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.
    • Was that when she put on the"Slut of Springfield" red dress and made a complete ass of herself at the CC, so of course Alan fell madly in love with her on the spot?
