According to Funky Dineva none of the cast are cool with Mariah and she and Quad almost got into a physical altercation. They also went on a cast trip and the ladies asked the producers not to let Mariah attend and they agreed. Looks like Mariah's downfall will be the storylinev this season. Can't wait! Its going to be good.

I'm wondering if the success of black night (and this shows first season) is making them hold off so this can replace RHOA. I could see it being a contender. The RH shows aren't doing as well, but if Married To Med and Blood, Sweat & Heels can hold up then they have two semi-housewives shows to pad things out. Mariah originally said this show would be back in February, but that obviously isn't true.

Solid season premiere. Interesting to see the doctors as the nucleus of all of the drama. Dr. Heavenly certainly came on a bit too strong, but at least she made an immediate impression. Love Dr. Simone and Dr. Jackie going in on her; I really enjoy their friendship, which feels genuine.

I am here for the mess Heavenly will be bringing.

Quad needs to change her hair up.

Loved seeing Dr. Simone and Dr. Jackie in the midst of the drama.

Mariah's mother looks even worse than she did last season.

Not sad to see Duck Tales off the show.

Honey ... Heavenly blew onto M2M like a freaking tsunami. That heffa came for Simone and Jackie and I have to say that she succeeded. She is working for that check, and she is making them work for their checks too. I can tell I'm gonna love her ratchet ass. I loved that exchange between her and Simone from start to finish. Freaking hilarious. And I'm also here for my boo, Quad.

Dr. Simone walks a fine line between professional and ratchet. You can just tell that if you say the wrong thing to her, she will yank out a weave
Wasn't expecting to see Kari but thankfully it wasn't much

Still cant stand Mariah

I don't think so! Dr. Jackie shut her down. I liked Heavenly but thought she was trying too hard too soon. Pretty ratchet of her as a doctor to get into this. I do expect more from them than the wives.

She will be back! There is a funny bonus clip on the Bravo website of her getting into it with Mariah. I wonder what happened with her status on the show. Considering how central she was to drama I'm surprised they didn't keep her. I would've kept her. I liked the way she'd go against Quad and Mariah and could actually keep up. She was entertaining with those hemorrhoid lips. At the very least it's good that she'll basically be featured as a "friend" throughout.

I think her accent and mannerisms can give off ratchet, but she's still very well spoken, just with a hood lean. I LOVE me some Dr. Simone. She was giving me everything I needed this episode. The way she shut Heavenly down was epic. I just love everything that comes out of her mouth. Then when Tacky Toya tried it you could tell she was done. I was just as shocked as she was that she was the center of the drama. Speaking of drama, Dr. Jackie has always been an ethereal goddess, but she REALLY slayed me when she killed Heavenly. She read that poor women in such an effortless way and did not break a single sweat or raise her voice doing it. If she ever did Celebrity Apprentice they would be done. Nene would probably have to kill her. Don't come for Dr. Jackie unless she sends for you!

Mariah is just tired, I'm over her. She's mildly entertaining, but at the bottom of my list right now. Quad remains everything, but THOSE WIGS!!! Why isn't anybody consulting her? Now that I do drag I don't have any sympathy for Struggle Wigs. THERE IS NO EXCUSE. Sharkeisha Banks (my drag persona) has better wigs that cost $30 and don't make me look like I'm balding! WTF Quad?! How are you gonna say you're the [!@#$%^&*] with those wigs?

I love the way she says this! The emphasis she puts on the FU just makes the delivery for me. Team Quad!

Dr. Heavenly is trying way too hard and Im gonna need her to sit her ass down somewhere. I don't get why she is coming for Jackie. Im glad her daughter will be back next week to shade the hell out of her again.

Kari was back. I think she prefers her role in the backseat bc you know she was not here for people fighting in her house acting ratchet last season

I wish Miss Kari was a full-time cast member. I still do enjoy her. Heavenly is a total [!@#$%^&*] bitch lol. I love her! She is a total mess! So far Lisa Nicole gets an "eh" from me. Her voice is annoying and she sounds dumb, although I know she says she doesn't. Neither her nor Heavenly is as fabulous as Kari, but at least Heavenly is bringing the cray.

Now onto Quad vs Mariah, QUAD WAS EVERYTHING! I agree with you, her "Bitch, !@#$%^&*] YOU" is classic. I have been saying that to myself in my car repeatedly. I hope I don't slip up and say it at work. I almost said it in front of my mom lol. The interesting thing about this is that the dinner was with Funky Dineva and Michelle from Straight From the A. Both posted about this MONTHS ago when it first happened and they reported Quad's version of events. Mariah was even so drunk that after she was thrown out of the restaurant Funky Dineva had to drive Mariah home in her car.

On another note, I feel like Quad and Gregory aren't gonna last. He did his job by getting her on this show, but I feel like she's over him.

    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).

    • I did some research and the story wrapped up with Eric,a caretaker responsible for Georgina's death who then  tried to do away with Laurie but a vision of Georgina spooked him and he smashed into a mirror, dying of glass wounds. So there was a supernatural element. I wonder if the Brody character in the credits was Eric Brody?
