I really just started watching GH a few months ago and from what I have read a lot people do not like Sabrina. I guess I'm alone, but I like her. I'm expecting the duckling to turn into a swan at some point.

The one story I'm really not liking is Connie. She seems ridiculously mean.

I see Michele ValJean is back on Twitter stanning for Bob Guza, just as she did when he was finally, blessedly fired. If she could stop repping for the Guza/mob regime long enough, I'd say she'd make an ideal co-HW for Carlivati. But as of now I don't trust her tastes or instincts anymore. With her - and a lot of the longtime GH writing staff under Guza - the good old days are a good old long time ago.

Fans on Twitter bug her all the time about Guza and decisions she had no control over while she was at GH.

She's simply been saying there were many more cooks in the kitchen during Guza's tenure, which isn't that hard to believe. She also said Guza never wanted to kill Alan. Is she telling the truth? Who know....

These people have jobs, networking, and friendships to protect. It's not like she was going to put anyone she worked with on blast unless they personally offended her.

AFAIC anyone who could've gone from the glory days in the '90s (under both Labine and Guza) to standing up for the dreck that GH put out from 2002-2011 under Guza has lost an impartial perspective. I understand she spent a great many years there and those people were her friends, and I'm sure many of them are good people IRL and that their work is not entirely without merit. But I think at least 70-80% of the overall work in those years is indefensible, in terms of the bigger picture. And I think she's too close to it to see it.

    • It was a real-life instance; I remember he had IG stories about the injury.
    • I don't know what killed Penny's husbands, but that sentence about "losing two husbands in automobile accidents & is now married to a racing-car driver" made me laugh out loud.
    • Shari Anderson was also head writer for a few months before the strike began.
    • I would agree.  Does anyone ever notice in Jan 1988/even Dec 1987, the show started to refer to characters from the past and mainly the Frame family?   It sounded like Lemay talk.  Jason Frame mentioned his sister Sharlene in early 88 but the ending credits still listed MD has head writer and I think Lemay was about to take over at that point.  The show hired Lemay back I believe to prepare for the 25th anniversary and try to recapture the audience that was lost by bringing the past back up.  Then the writers strike happened and all of a sudden the writing changed except when Sharlene Frame came back and we heard more family chatter again.  Maybe at this time they knew the strike was coming near to an end the producer forced the scab writing team to introduce Sharlene. I suspect even though Lemay was not writing at the time, the intent was he is coming back and the show consulted with him on his future storylines.
    • -- My Laugh of the Day goes to Carly calling the Metro Court a "five-star hotel." -- It's crazy, but what Drew did to Wiley makes Drew come off worse than if he actually murdered someone. -- Cynthia Wattros really needs to lay off the Botox. Because her face doesn't move, she's doing WAY too much with her eyes. -- Josh Kelly is looking so good with the new haircut. -- Rory Gibson continues to impress as nuMichael. Just another reminder that Josh Griffith doesn't know how to write for talent. -- This Lucky goodbye is sad -- in all the wrong ways. It could not be more pathetic. There's no doubt in my mind that Valentini told the writers they had 3 days to write him out and to make it ugly. No one will miss JJ.

    • Teach me to post cocky about all these rampant relations! As for the cut, it just made Leo Howard look more stunningly handsome. There are guys I think are hotter, but he's got the prettiest face hands down.
    • Yes Arianna and Tate are blood related through Sami and Theresa. They are also adoptive/honorary related because Arianna's third.parent is Sonny, which makes Arianna and Tate related through Justin and Isabella.
    • I saw more about Biden Old or the staged feud between Elon and Trump or just the usual distractions, but I will admit I don't stomach most of the news anyway.
