GH: Lulu recast

She's been on the show ... what, six or seven years? In all that time the only storyline she has been that I enjoy is the current one.

And even there she's the most annoying one in the mix but I am loving the anticipation for the drama that will come about when the story climaxes.

My reaction is the same as when the Burton departure rumors first surfaced; I will believe it when I see it. She is just like Burton. They are always leaving until they sign the next contract. If she does leave, I think that this would be good for GH. This is their opportunity to recast the character with a solid actress with some sex appeal.

Whatever face work she had done a few years ago made her slightly more attractive

If Lulu left town, would more than about three characters notice? She's in the flop story about the baby, and has part of the Haunted Star, but she's still so pointless and isolated.

If she does leave I want a speech on how "living with the Quartermaine's" namely Tracy and Dillon, made her grow as an actress.

Ha! Well, no.

I do like her when she plays comedy - she has a great dry wit that's been on display recently. She's perked up a bit lately, so I would miss her. But when she is bored, she's sullen and it shows. I can take or leave a recast.

I loved her insane Amanda Woodward Melrose Place power mini at the V-Day party. What a flashback.

She can be easily recast. She's been there many years yes, but she's a younger actress and she hasn't have too many memorable stories so it can happen. Look at Lucky. Jonathan Jackson was one of the few untouchable younger actors and they successfully recast the role twice. I could easily see them doing well with a Lulu recast.

yessss Lulu can totally be recast, but i do think JMB is a big reason the character has lasted this long, along with being who she is. The actress is key, esp if its a next day recast. They should have Lulu find out Maxie isnt prego w/ her baby or make her think its Maxie & Dante's and take off, then bring in a recast shortly after.

Agreed. The absolute worst thing they did to her character was pair her up with Dante. Breaking her and Johnny up was the worst mistake for her character.

Once with Greg Vaughn. Jacob Young was never Lucky.

It should be in the next SID that she's leaving for real and that today was her last tape day.

Oh snap, how did you find that out?

I wonder if they will have a ceremony where JMB passes the asexuality crown down to Kristen Alderson.
