The fact that certain folks are taking umbrage at my initial observation pretty much proves my point, as it takes a pretty pathetic person to go out of their way to attempt to ruin other viewers' enjoyment of a show that they can easily change the channel from.

One, cut the personal attacks. They undercut your points.

Two, if rants on a soap board can actually affect your enjoyment of a show then please learn to scroll versus demanding some form of pro-GH only censorship.

Sure go ahead. I wonder how involved he will be in the PC plot as he was gone by the time things went downhill with the supernatural. I hope he is more involved with Lucy than Luke

So anyone interested in the Kin Shriner interview in tv guide? I can post it, it's not spoilerish

Yes, please.

If reading what others has to say takes away from your enjoyment of GH, then you really aren't enjoying it all that much.

I have not watched since last Monday, and I wish some of the stuff here could make me like the show when I don't. There was nothing to my liking last week, but it had nothing to do with what I read here.

Here's to hoping something this week strikes my fancy...

the new soapnet promo looks promising.

If someone is enjoying the show regardless of if you think the writing is crap, really who gives a f--k? The show is far from perfect but the best it's been in years IMO and yes better than Guza and Wolfe's runs from the last several years. Doesn't mean I think RC is a genius but I do think his show has more heart than it has had in a while and I appreciate the utilization of the shows history and the vets, which admittedly was rough when he took over but I feel he's found a good footing and building up good momentum going into the anniversary. I have no major issues with how any of the vets are being used at the moment and I love that we are seeing them interact with each other and the newer cast as that brings a greater sense of community. I know many haters will disagree and fair enough that's your right, but this is my opinion and I can only go by what I am enjoying. The hell with Guza. He's irrelevant and im not merely enjoying the show bc it's slightly better in comparison

Here are my thoughts: I don't think FRon are as great as some people in the media do. I think they don't have any grasp on important GH characters (Liz, Sonny), can't pace a story to save their lives, introduced far too many newbies, are overly pleased with their time at OLTL and have to constantly give it shout outs, and have just in general crowded the canvas. That being said, the show has more buzz and better ratings, so they must be doing something right. Ratings don't always correllate to a well-written show, but they do keep a show on the air and I think we can all agree that we would like GH to remain on air. This last week was fairly entertaining outside the usual flaws (Connie, Britt/Sabrina) and I liked it. Is it as good as it could be? No way, but it is certainly better than it being cancelled, which is where it was headed a year ago.

After years of being heartily sick at the sight of Sonny's character, I am rather shocked at how saddened I am by the pathetic purse-carrying non-person he's become under RC's pen. It's not like I'm mourning Guza's Sopranos wannabe crap of the last few years don't get me wrong... but I wince at seeing Sonny so diminished and the horrific KSu Connie/Kate crap so elevated.

You and I are kindred. While Sonny was definitely overexposed and Mo has his flaws, the man that RC thinks he is makes me weep! I like Sonny and it pains me to see this pu$$y onscreen calling himself Sonny. It's absolutely aweful!

Gotta love SORASING. PC off the air for a little over 9 years; Alison has a 15-16 year old son. Maybe his vampire DNA caused him to age rapidly or something
