Yes, I am well aware of JFP's reputation. But there's a huge question mark as to how much of the problems on GH, GL and AW were her doing and how much was caused by network interference, Guza having too much pull, etc.

She has publicly apologized for killing Maureen on GL and denied killing Frankie on AW (and I believe her - why would she confess to killing one popular character but vehemently deny another?).

What exactly has she done at this show that suggests she plans on phasing out any vets and bringing in new families to dominate the show? Hell, the first thing she did was bring back a popular vet (Walton) and ask another one to stick around for a longer stint (Bell). The only remotely controversial thing she's done so far (unless you count Marcy Rylan's firing, which has been rectified) has been tinkering with the music a bit.

Not that JFP has anything like that kind of autonomy anyway. Angelica McDaniel and Steve Kent have to sign off on everything and I highly doubt they'd approve of any popular vets being fired in favor of newbies.

I was jumping up and down when I heard she brought Jess Walton back, but where is Jill?

MAB had Jill standing in the background every other month,so why have her return to do more of the same? I was expecting a story line. How long was JW taping? I've seen a couple scattered scenes that serve no purpose. I understand that Tucker 's a drab character and that puts a damper on the story, but they could have killed him off or found him to be a fraud.

Nelson Branco just hinted that JFP paid big $$$ for Burton. I don't have a problem with him but if that is preventing Y&R from enticing JW down from Oregon I'm really pissed cause it means she's no better than MAB. Wasn't MAB's MO keep them on the payroll or associated with the show but never use them?

I have no problem cheering on JFP's favorites if she plays fair with the viewers. Do they think that all longtime viewers are all about Victor and Nikki? MAB gave us plenty of that. We've been staved of everything Jill for almost 3 years, I hope they are writing a story line for her.

Is Y&R's 40th anniversary going to be all about characters that didn't even exist 40 years ago? Isn't Gh's rating's improving because they brought back original characters? Y&R still has them why not use them? Watching them wither in the background isn't satisfying.

I lean towards them being ex lovers. That would explain Alex's way too personal questions to Noah about missing her, etc. This is a bad story though imo. It centers on a recast we barely know, 2 newbies, and horrid version of Bonnie & Clyde.

Also leaning towards Alex being the guy that Adrianna cheated on Noah with and he is black mailing her in some sort of way or they broke up and she took the money so now he wants it back from her.

I wonder which one will get sick and possibly die as Cane leaves town only for us to find out 5 years from now (if the show is still on) that Cane stole him/her and he/she is still alive and returns to town a bitter pre-teen.

I don't thing GR is going anywhere. Sony likes him alot. If anyone gets the boot it will be EH alone. Althought the character Kevin have outlived his use. Micheal has a soras'd Fen to give him story now. Kevin is redundant.
