I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Good for JvD. He's one of those actors that I always want to be able to work for as long as he wants it. PP seems to be more focused on starting with vets this time around.

This really isn't anything different from before, IIRC. PP signed Jerry, Erika, KDP, FL, ME, MA, Bob Woods(?), and Ted King in rapid succession, and I think there were a few others.
