Aside from the fact that he was a professor at Oxford, and had an affair with Maria Sanchez resulting in a child, nothing is really known about Lorenzo's time before he came to Port Charles.

The issue for me isn't him having kids on GH. Obviously his 2003-2007 GH time came before his OLTL 2010-2011 time, in between which he was "dead." I'm just concerned about the backstory. You said little his known about his GH backstory. So let's just say his timeline starts with leaving Tea and her family early in life. He then becomes a professor, had an affair or whatever you said, going by the name of Lorenzo Alcazar. But we already have an issue...he had a brother and parents presumably...who weren't Tea's family. He then had Baz perhaps (from OLTL), etc etc. Worked for the CIA, had multiple pseudonyms, what have you. But the early parts of the backstory are what wouldn't add up.

Bigger question: What is the point? Even if Ted King appears, he'll be in three episodes max since that's all Kassie has left. There's no payoff to be had here.
