Oh, come on.

Thank you

you were with that statement. I remember the thread. It was one person who said that; it wasn't sentiment shared by the board. Many people posting in this thread spoke up against that

It still wasn't generalizing.

Those weren't the first racist statements they (amongst others) have made at SON.

This is a board that said Trayvon Martin deserved to be killed because of what he was wearing.

Oh please, this is BS. Yes, there are a few dumbasses on this board who share that sentiment, but it is certainly not the majority and you know it. There are really are no depths you will not stoop to defend that loony Victoria Rowell.

Well "they" aren't posting in this thread and aren't the ones commenting on Rowell so I don't see the relevance for even bringing them and that stuff into the conversation

Yes, there are a few dumbasses on this board who share that sentiment, but it not the majority.

Now it's "not the majority"

When any other minority actor other than Vicki discusses race in Daytime they're ignored or marginalized.

Some actors (Renee Jones, Tim Stickney) may get a few "it's a shame they weren't used more" comments but that's it (where was the outrage for Kristoff?).

No, its never been the majority

Who said that? That certainly isn't my opinion

just go to the off topic section and search for Trayvon

It is called the straw man argument. It is impossible to keep on track when defending the wacky like VR.

They are one and the same.

Victoria Rowell isn't crazy and she shouldn't be labelled as such. She's just desperate to stay relevant. Her cries of racism aren't invalid but her constant rants are becoming inane. She's been reduced to a child throwing a temper tantrum because no one is paying her any attention. She should be better than this.

Yes it has.

Everyone was complaining about Leslie being stuck with Neil, Tyler not having love scenes & the NAACP winners a month ago.

Um, we were talking about the Trayvon nonsense that you brought up, not Y&R

Anyone who constantly screams "Y&R IS RACIST AND TOXIC! IT'S THE WORST PLACE EVER! THEY HATE AFRICAN AMERICANS" and then begs, grovels and pleads to be re-hired is insane. Not to mention it completely invalidates her initial point. Why would you beg to work in a place that you claim is so toxic?

We were complaining about TA winning the NAACP award when she hasn't had a damn story and is barley on Y&R. They were other deserving women in the category that the award could've and should've gone to. I would've omitted her for one of the women of color they left out of the category.

We were talking about them both.
