Watching Daytime Confidential lose their [!@#$%^&*] minds about the dismissal of Marcy Rylan - the epitome of our hope for the future, apparently, I must have just missed the memo - is fun. Really, she's hardly worth all that. I'm sorry, but she's not. She was an appealing young actress on the wasteland that was latter-day GL and she failed to really distinguish herself on Y&R at all in a terrible time. It's like making a fuss over Daniel "I Am Become Death" Cosgrove, three-time soap killer.

For all that fuss you would think she would have been on frequently or at the very least had a memorable storyline. These are same people who thought that the naked heiress was a timely storyline.

While I thought that Marcy could play being in her twenties, I never thought her Abby would have ever been Victoria's step daughter.

All I remember her Abby for is taking off her clothes and drinking.

I just watched some of Jen Lilley's GH work for the first time and yes, she looks like she'd be perfect as Abby.

Me too. She's always come across as haughty to me. I find Jess Walton, Marie Masters, Colleen Zenk, Susan Flannery, Beverlee McKinsey, Julia Barr, and Judith McConnell to be far more engaging actresses of her generation.

JL was not great, but she was so much better than KS. KS is absolutely worthless, and she does not appear to have out grown The Disney Channel. Can't they resurrect Zenon and give her something to do? Bringing her back was a bad decision, and from the looks of things, it's just a matter of time before she needs another "medical" time out. There was a time I loved KS as Maxie, but KS developed that squeaky voice because she may have thought it was appealing and added depth to the character, and the fact that she looks so bad now is very distracting. The camera adds pounds too?
