Members Vee
Eh. Todd's lonely and feverish and he's squinting at the nearest saucy blonde. Carly is Blair in a can to him. The only way they could tempt me on Todd and Carly is if it was my Carly, Sarah Brown. I can't with Laura Wright. But RH is a load of fun on the show. Now, John and Sam or Todd and Sam - that tears me up.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
I told my mom something to the effect of... "I hate to say this. But, if I was FV and RC I'd be calling up some of the former vets and telling them they might have to film a funeral scene soon" Am I wrong for thinking that JI might die soon? I want Edward to have a funeral as good as Lila's was. With returns from the past. Don't kill me!
Members marceline
No. I touched on that above. There's no easy way to deal with a situation like this. IMO, the best TPTB can do find a way to let fans say goodbye to the actor in one way and the character in another. Of course, given that TPTB at GH are RC and FV, the fans are, not to put too fine a point on it...totally fucked.
Members DRW50
These days Carly is as saucy as Kristiin Alfonso. Brittle brittle brittle. I'd rather they keep Edward alive and just have him mentioned offcamera. The "tribute" to Robin was a fiasco, and I doubt this would be any better. It's not like they will bring anyone back. We will just hear Sonny speak about how much he loved Edward.
Members R Sinclair
The only thing I enjoyed about this episode was Jane Elliot. As a proud Jane Elliot fan, I'm beyond thrilled that she delivered. Even with her "Shut up, Monica," before Tracy handed over the antidote to Patrick, she said in a sisterly-yet-I have not patience right now tone. Members MrQuartermaine
No. As you could all see from today's episode, John's a very sick man. For months, John has felt that if he was able to do one last episode of GH, he'd feel that he had won.
Members ChitHappens
Robin and Edward Q can never be compared on any level, but her death and funeral were laughable.
Members Mr. Vixen
Stop it! You are making me cry. You guys, I know most of us really hate Guza and Phelps around here but DAMN did they give us a fantastic farewell episode to Lila. Thank you to AddieCate for uploading the entire thing. Really, take the time to watch it. I watched it last week for the first time since it aired originally, and it was truly beautiful. They even showed flashbacks of Edward/Emily as played by the previous actor/actress. It was just beautifully done. And if God forbid JI goes soon, I sure hope we get something this touching. The only blemish is that it was Jed Allen not John Ingle as Edward. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvrpYonvlt4
Members SFK
I love how at the end of the episode, they did a montage with ALL of her Edwards, Lewis and Ingle, too.
Members Ms. Chandler Quartermaine
I'm going to cry, the Quartermaines really are over. Even when Monica said "The Cook" was dead, I got sad. They were seriously my favorite family on any soap, and just to see how they are barely hanging on with 3, breaks my heart. I always had hope of a resurgence, there are so many of them, soo many possibilities, but no writer willing to try.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
Woah. You got to say the f-word without it bleeping out. I wonder if I'll [!@#$%^&*] be able to. LOL. Nope. It bleeped it. I just found that amusing somehow. How did the censor on here not get you Marceline?

Members quartermainefan
I disagree. While fallout and a decent story might have made for six good months in 1991, I have gotten 20 years worth of pleasure out of John Ingle's Edward. Is he David Lewis? No. But he made Edward his own and has been one of the best actors GH has had over the last 20 years. I am sad we have seen the last of him. Members ChitHappens
Tracy to Monica: Before she says something nice... "You were a promiscuous social climber, and my brother should have never brought you into the house..." As only Jane Elliot can deliver it! I absolutely loved it. It's time to bring in some Qs. JE showed that this could still work. LC can hardly move any part of her body, not even her eyelashes, so I just have to ignore her. JE would make one hell of a matriarch. Her hair is gorgeous too! Remember the scene when Tracy learned of Lila's death? It haunted me for quite some time when she said, "I want my mommy". Unbelievable! I'm sure one of you PIs can find that. I never could, but I'm almost afraid to watch it again.
Members JaneAusten
I don't believe anyone on this show no matter how much more great material the women may be getting care about any of them. And this show doesn't have an Erika Slezak, Susan Lucci, Susan Flannery, Jeanne Cooper, heck they don't even have a Katherine Kelly Lang. The only way I'd see any more Quartermaine story is if they brought Rex over from OLTL and retconned his paternity yet again. I've heard rumblings of them bringing Alan back in some capacity and at this point as much as I love him, it's like what for. They've managed to use Tracy for a long time without using the Quartermaines or rebuild them so as much as I love Jane Elliott, I just don't see it.
