I found out what was causing GH not to tape.

My stepdad set the damn DVR in this room (It's the family room) to tape Charlie Sheen's Anger Management show. And, it came on the same time as GH (2PM) So, instead of taping GH. It was freaking taping that stupid Charlie Sheen show.

I fixed it. Thank God.

Wow, I BAWLED during the Edward scenes. I felt very, very emotional throughout but when Patrick was looking through the glass and Edward gave him the thumbs up with that smile I was just done. So beautiful, so touching.

I really hope JI recovers and this isn't the last time we see him. But if it is, I like that the last words ever spoke will be "I love you" to Tracy.

That's what I thought. I remember how happy she seemed too but at the same time - and I know how this sounds - there's something pathetic about wheeling a beloved actor onto the set when they are barely there anymore. At the same time, they belong there and should be honored like a family elder. Regardless, I'm happy for John Ingle that he was able to show up for this big story even if all he had was one line. I'm happy for him and his fans. I remember how wonderful it was to see the footage of James Mitchell on AMC's 40th. I hated seeing him so frail and sick but I loved seeing Palmer again. I hope that GH finds a way to tape footage with "Alan" to be used after he's gone. (Ugh, I hate writing that.) GH doesn't have much longer and when the curtain comes down on the show hopefully someone who cares about the show will find a way to include that footage.

And yes, for the record, I admit that I don't watch GH but I saw plenty of Ingle's work back when I was watching clips to work on a Skye-related fanfic so I understand why he is so loved.

Poor Monica's face doesn't even move anymore. I give credit to Jane Elliot. She looks great, and hasn't hacked up her face or had it botoxed. Her facial muscles move.

John Ingle is so frail. I don't think he was physically able to say much more than he did. What a heartbreaking scene to see him like this.

It was heartbreaking but I'm so glad JI was able to do the scenes. Tears.

Say what you like, but I thought it took real class for them to make a tribute to JI/Edward in this way when they knew it could well be his last show. I was moved. I thought they did it right.

Yep. It kinda sucks. The one in my bedroom which is a newer HD model. Will tape 2 at a time. But, the ones in the family room and living room. One show at a time and it sucks.
