You know, this news would have normally made me quite concerned had it happened in 2006. But after Latham and MAB I'm feeling so apathetic about this news because at least its a change, something we've been demanding for the last three years, though perhaps in an ever worse direction. And with Phelps I think we all know what to expect by now after her GL and AW regime's mistakes. I wish JFP the best really and will reserve any further judgement on all of this until her work is actually aired and displayed because I already feel so negative about it.

I'm just happy Maria Arena Bell's egotism and contempt for her audience finally caught up with her.

Jill has no respect for her audience either, but at least she owns up to the type of person she is. Maria certainly didn't.

Why is everyone so worried about what will happen with this SL or that SL... or this actor or that actor. She's the EP, not the HW. Do Executive producers routinely write story?

I trust Griffith as a HW. His last stint was character-driven and slow paced. I think he has much more of an idea of what's good for Y&R than MAB.
