I also see no purpose in Starr sticking around unless they are about to use her as a substute daughter here for Tea since Danielle isnt around to be with her mother through her current baby ordeal

There's no real reason for any of them to stay around.

I'm sorry but all of this OLTL is taking over GH is seriously making me laugh. If John wasn't from OLTL how would this be any different than a new character? How is Todd any different from one of Sonny's enemies of the week? I haven't even Starr lately and Tea was MIA for like a week. They came on here to generate story for GH characters it isn't like they are only interacting with themselves or only came on to reveal Victor Jr. Was alive like orginally thought, and I bet if/when they do decide to do that it will involve people in Port Charles in some way. I'm not saying the writing is great, because its not, and I don't even like Todd and John like that so I'm not some pressed OLTL fanboi but this isn't any different than new characters popping up.

I'm sure once GH gets the cancellation notice all of them will go back to Llanview and he will focus on wrapping up GH, he put characters that weren't liked (I.e. The Ford Brothers) on backburner once OLTL was canceled, though I wish the same could be said for Rex and Gigi tongue.png

I agree. At least the OLTLers have history on their side, even if it's not collective history, and bring something to the table that is not completely new. The actors also bring years of experience so they know what they're doing, as opposed to so many nubes we've seen who are practically schooled on GH their first year (if they make it that long). And for many of us, we have at least a passing knowledge of these character so we can sort-of see where they fit.

All in all I think it's an experiment worth trying, and I applaud them for that. There is a certain amount of genius taking the strongest characters (characters, not necessary actors) and mixing them in with another group of strong characters to keep the genre going. At this point what have the really got to loose anyway?

On paper, yes, but "Cartini" had little faith in this, so they killed off Starr's boyfriend and child, and rewrote John's history for no apparent reason. Todd also seems to have no real purpose.

Of the three, Howarth is the only one I think is doing a decent job, but even then, his scenes with Sonny (which were supposed to be a big draw) have been shockingly poor.

It's been like the worst of both worlds - these characters come in and take up a lot of airtime without any real effort being made to have viewers care, because it's just presumed they will care. The closest to "effort" is the unwashed moper sitting around pouting with PodAnna and her ugly hair.

How cruel! laugh.png

OT: It's kind of funny how cute I thought Cabbage Patch KIds were as a kid. They still can be, but I actually think Troll dolls a little cuter now (ugly cute?).

That hair is a bad color and the curls against the tacky pageant looking dress make the whole ensemble look hookerish

Eh, I've seen worse on other actresses/everyday girls who look much more hookerish than KA does here. YMMV, I guess.

Some people have difficulty accepting that they are NOT hot, so when they try too hard, they look trashy! She looks like a girl gone wild before the clothes come off. Horrible!
