GH: Discussion for the Month of March

Id rather they just do a title card like ATWT then. What they are doing this week seems so amateurish and choppy

Absolutely. I'm with you and JP on that. A title card would be much more dignified than whatever the f*ck that was on Monday.

A title card would have been preferable to any opening GH has had since Frons arrived. My skin crawls at that "dead men in tuxedos and Tony Geary storms off in fury" opening, and the Castlevania one with the scary sax was even worse.

I don't even remember that one. What the hell is Castlevania?

Castlevania is a video game series about vampires. The castles in those games look a lot like the crappy CGI GH used on their Wyndemere shots.

Wyndemere. (SP?)

I was just watching some old GH and I realized how much I miss Ned. sad.png I want him back.

What do you miss about him?

Ah, thanks for answering. I do remember the jazz theme, but not the shots that went with it, except someone jumping onto an ambulance. Generally openings are not that important to me, but this recent one..it's just clear that TPTb have given up. I'm talking about the high up people who call the shots and set the budget, not the creative people, who I am sure wish they had the resources to do things right.

That's what I thought Ned was supposed to be, but he spent most of his time talking about how awful they were and how superior he was to them.

Yeah, um... I wasn't too crazy about Ned -- I came late to the party in 2000 -- so, I really wasn't heartbroken when I realized Wally Kurth was gone.

Wait a minute... Wally Kurth vs. Maggie Wurth? Hmmmm...

It's depressing to think about all that has happened to the Quartermain family.

I have no desire to see that crappy project orpheus ish on GH. Helena Cassadine brought a frozen Stavros back to life in her underground lab under GH with Tonys help if I recall. She could have Robin, Georgie, Emily, Alan, AJ all frozen and alive with an undead Tony keeping them that way,

That was under McTavish right? (To her kinda credit, I got the feeling she wanted to, or was told to, try to return GH so9mewhat to its very early 80s sci fi comic book stuff).

So that music cue from the last Johnny/Anthony scene was a total ripoff of a Dexter music cue.

Todd and Blair and they are explaining what happened between January and Now

Man that was some awkward recap dialogue. I wonder what some newbie who somehow doesn't know these are OLTL characters thought of it (I guess it's pretty unlikely viewers like that exist anymore, but still). I get that in a way it was necessary but still.
