Y&R: Discussion for the Month of January

Kay is in her "My Fair Lady" mode and Yo-Harmony is her project. Personally I find Kay's actions insulting. Harmony's current ghetto accent is very annoying. I guess Kay's going to TEACH her how to speak "proper" English. And don't get me started on the "Miss Phylis"s comment. What's next Mr. Billy? GEEZE

That "Miss Phyllis" line sounded as if the show transported back to 1954 Mississippi or something. That was not good writing at all.

I have adult co workers that refer to their younger superiors by mr and mrs so and so, I don't see the problem and I'm black.

What makes your comment even funnier is when I checked into the YMCA this morning someone called me "Miss Julia". It was all I could do not to laugh thinking about Harmony. This is in the south and we are both white, so it does still happen.

I don't exactly see it as a problem, but it doesn't sound right on TV.

I've also been around people who refer to others like that, who mainly have southern roots. On a show set in the south, it wouldn't have sounded so out of place.

Apparently she was sleeping with Deacon.

Adam's hair just gets more ridiculous.

As always he is the victim...

So much for the B&B set being drama free. Not for much longer.

I actually thought today's show was really good. Finally the Diana's killer was revealed and it was Nikki! I thought it would've been a copout if Deacon was the killer so I'm glad that didn't happen. Out of all the main suspects, I wanted the killer to be Nikki because I wanted Nikki on trial for the murder and I would've saved the super 8 footage as a way to get Nikki off death row. I think this would be a storyline that will get good ratings and history has proven that it does - John and Sami on DAYS, and Todd on OLTL. But now it look like the show dropped the ball by not doing that storyline - instead nothing's going to happen to Nikki because she killed Diane in self defense which ends the storyline.
