lol...no. Its a regular teen line aimed at young girls. Hope has used it as a platform to spread her message and FC has let that be the theme of it as far as marketting, fashion shows and press conferences go

I have to give props to Kim Matula for selling that "Hope for the Future" story. She must have been beyond mortified to have to espouse some of that "I'm a virgin and proud" dialogue, but she shaded a lot of the intent of her dialogue with the idea that the brand was all about young girls respecting themselves and not being pressured into something they didn't want to do. Like a PSA with clothes?

This virginity issue is a stepping stone toward longer-term story -- Hope's issues with her scandalous mother, Brooke... Hope's perceived frigidity, etc. And that is no bad thing. It plays on a lot of the show's history and adds an interesting dynamic with the mother-daughter relationships like Brooke/Hope (and also Taylor/Steffy).

Yes and Yes. As to looking down on Steffy for liking sex...well, idk about that. Not exactly, but I've heard enough about her virginity to last a life time.

Yep me too....the whole show pretty much revolves Hope sex-less life before Liam there was Oliver, pretty much the same deal Brooke (her mom accidently boinked him at a party where she wore the same mask as Hope). I'm into the storyline though even though its the same ole triangle Hope/Steffy/ some guy....or Steffy/Bill/Katie....I'm interested in Amber/Rick storyiine

It seems they brought up that w/the Oliver/Brooke storyline when Hope was mad with Brooke about it she flung in her face her promiscuity (along w/Stephanie)
