Just popping my head in to express my gratitude for all the GL box sets already put out! I have all of them and I've seen most of the episodes.

I hope there'll be more coming, but I'm very thankful for the ones that have already come.

Can anyone tell me the date of the last streaming episode of Guiding Light that was on the soapclassics website around July of this year?

IIRC the last SC streaming GL episode was the 150th anniversary celebration for Springfield, from August 15, 1984.

I don't recall this story. Why was this choosen as a new release?? Lately I am liking the ATWT releases more than the GL ones. I will probably still buy this one very soon.

I second that...want more of ATWT. I'd love a Lucinda one with different stories during her time on the show....maybe the takeover of her company, Neal and Royce revealed as her siblings, Lucinda and Susan feud.....Lucinda and Barbara feud....

THANK YOU, Roger! I have waited thirty one years to see the climax of Jennifer's trial. Two full weeks of this story was more than I dreamt of, icing on a cake I probably do not deserve. I truly appreciate your hard work and influence in getting these episodes released.

I'm glad for a GL release as it has been over 4 months since the last one. This was years before I watched GL, so I'm rather interested to see more of this Doug Marland material.

This is incredible! I wish there was a way to combine purchases for ATWT and GL DVDs. I want the Bob/Kim one and I want this but have been waiting for a multi-pack or coupon.

Glad you are excited. These episodes are really wonderful and most of the characters are there (I can't think of anyone missing off the top of my head). This was the end of Elizabeth (Phillip went to live with Jackie and Justin) and everyone has something going on. Lots of Ben, Amanda, Hope, Alan, Mike, Ross obviously because of the trial.

This is cool. I have a copy of the script for Episode 7 so it will be great to follow along with the script.
