It's more than that - John, Rex, both Todds, and Ford, and Clint are all vile pieces of trash, yet the show has/had no problem fawning over them. The writing for Matthew is much pettier.

I dont beleive it for the simple fact that I think Victor is alive but as it stands they are writing it as Todd killed him and its what Todd beleives so even if he didnt, he's still a pieve of sh-t scum for everything he has done to Victor's family in order to cover his own ass

Todd genuinely cares about Sam more than Victor? How so? Todd pretended to be his friend to cover his ass when Sam caught him lurking about and witnessed him kill someone. He kidnapped Sam and left him alone in a sleazy hotel and he only used him as a means to an end bc he needed a bargaining chip. He hasnt given Sam much thought since he stopped being useful to him. That kid was a pawn to him. Nothing more

Todd killed his father and has been lying to and manipulating his family for weeks. The kid suffered when his father died and thats unneceasry pain caused by Todd, pain which he doesnt seem to care about. He used and manipulated Sam early on and hasnt had much to do with him after he got what he wanted so so much for him "liking" him. Blair would do best to keep them apart

You forgot RHTodd kidnapped Sam and then left him all alone in a seedy motel room. Since then, he's ignored him for months then used him once to play at "good guy" to snow Blair.

The RHTodd version reminding me more and more of the old hypocrite Richard Nixon and his defenders who believed when HE broke the law, it's a-ok and perfectly justified.

Take the Jack situation. Early on, an insufferable self-righteous RHTodd ripped into TSJTodd as a lousy father for covering up Jack's crimes versus make the kid confess and accept responsibility. He swore he'd have handled the situation differently. Yeah right! That raging hypocrite today even handed down the same punishment making Jack work under his supervision and not give him any more LIP.

I ripped into TSJTodd for the coverup and will rip into RHTodd, too. Both proved lousy role models and fathers. But RHTodd has proven the far worse louse for lying to Jack's face about killing the "dad" he loves.

As for Blair, RC is exploring what I've suspect for years now... a part of Blair secretly enjoys being a "psycho magnet." She's replaced Marty as Llanview's perpetual victim and part of needs the constant attention her pain garners.

I just find it dumb for people to consider either Todd anything other than the sociopaths they both are/were. It's why I enjoy the character(s) and for either to be made out to be better than the other is just blind ignorance.
