December 23, 201114 yr Member A very nice interview with VI where he talks a little bit about the original ending and some other stuff. Phyllis: The show ended with a cliffhanger and there's been talk about an original ending. Do you know what your character's original end would have been? Vincent: All I do know is that Babe was supposed to be the one who was on the stretcher at the end, but that was changed to accommodate the continuation of the show, given that Alexa [Havins,( Babe)] wouldn't have been available to continue on once we went on the Internet. http://www.examiner....original-ending
December 23, 201114 yr Member Well, if there's a silver lining to this Prospect Park scam, it's that Babe stayed dead. One of the worst characters ever, along with her mama.
December 23, 201114 yr Member Babe staying dead made a lot more sense dramatically - Alexa was probably not going to be back on a permanent basis for PP (and Jacob Young wasn't either), and JR realizing Babe was really dead was the final breaking point for him.
December 24, 201114 yr Member At the risk of sounding like one of the SOS people lol, Susan Lucci said on Access Hollywood that there may still be hope for AMC when asked if she would consider doing another soap.
December 24, 201114 yr Member Also, I read on another board from a reliable ABC insider that they have a lot riding on Couric, and may be considering keeping GH as a lead in if The Chew or The Revolution don't hold up, and promotion for the two shows will go into overdrive after OLTL ends.
December 24, 201114 yr Member Saying that Susan Lucci made that comment doesn't make you an SOS person. Thanks for sharing.
December 24, 201114 yr Member There is no reason for Susan to go to another soap. She is too ingrained as Erica and has other fish to fry. There have been rumblings about "hey AMC/OLTL might not be dead yet" but I don't believe a thing yet.
December 24, 201114 yr Member At the risk of sounding like one of the SOS people lol, Susan Lucci said on Access Hollywood that there may still be hope for AMC when asked if she would consider doing another soap. Of course she said that. Just like JVD said there many be hope for OLTL.They're going to keep saying that.
December 24, 201114 yr Member I guess JVD posted on NBC's wall on FB about OLTL https://www.facebook.com/nbc/posts/10150509939065746
December 25, 201114 yr Member At least he said he was a cockeyed optimist to SOD...until the contract with Prospect Park lapses completely I figure we will get such comments.
December 26, 201114 yr Member At least he said he was a cockeyed optimist to SOD...until the contract with Prospect Park lapses completely I figure we will get such comments. My guess is we won't see such comments very much after the show that JvD is currently on ends.
December 26, 201114 yr Member I guess JVD posted on NBC's wall on FB about OLTL https://www.facebook...150509939065746 Oh dear Lord. Please Jerry, show some dignity.
December 28, 201114 yr Member CelebTV (whatever that is LOL!) listed the cancellation of AMC as one of the most shocking celebrity events of 2011. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qhh99Gdfs6g I think it's ironic that Oprah also ended up on the list.
December 28, 201114 yr Member Not sure if this is common knowledge or not but Cat Hickland says in the new TV Guide that after the cancellations the cast was under a gag order, and she wasn't and didn't care if she'd worked again or not by speaking out, she said there was nothing keeping her from telling the truth Edited December 28, 201114 yr by dragonflies
