GH Casting Rumor

Not really sure why not being employed for a few months before the rest of the cast is not employed is career safety.

Leaving now makes you available for the spring pilot season either for regular or recurring roles on prime time shows.

A winery? Is that a good startup business in this economy?

From the way LW tweets, it sounds like the winery is doing well. I think her husband also still has his other business that he still works at part time. I also believe LW has a restaurant that she owns with her family back east.

Thanks. When I used to read the soap magazines I thought she was married to a photographer, but that was years ago.

If all that is true, she's probably loaded. She probably gets paid reasonably well by GH. And if her restaurant and winery are both successful, coupled with her husbands salaries? That sounds very lucrative.

LW has only been married once, to someone she dated back in high school, they were apart for a time, but eventually got back together.

Wineries exist in PA, and not just on OLTL. This website has a list of all of them. http://www.pennsylvaniawine.com/Wineries.aspx

Getting back on topic, would be sad if they had Robin Scorpio die.

It would be a bad idea to kill Robin. Deaths on GH have become meaningless, and I doubt ABC would bother to bring back anyone from her past. I'd rather she and Patrick just move away. Or she could become a spy.

Good for Kim. She is ducking out before the end. They could give Robin an HIV/AIDS related illness like pneumonia or she could disappear and be presumed dead. Another option could be that Patrick cheats again and she decides to take Emma and go to London to live with Anna.

Wineries are risky businesses. One of the wealthiest divorcee's in the country went bankrupt from one in Virginia. The NY Times did a huge article on her a couple months ago. I think most of these soap actors will struggle financially, if they have not been wise with the money that they have made.

Didn't Jamey at D.C. claim a serial killer is coming to Port Charles? Perhaps Robin is the first victim.

I don't think they will kill her off. I agree with Carl. This regime over the past so many years has killed so many off viewers are numb to it and they never mean anything. THe last death that probably had some value was BJ, If they kill her off serial killer ala TMK it will be for shock value only,

GH’S McCULLOUGH LEAVING: It’s true: GH’s Kimberly McCullough (Robin) is exiting Port Charles, but will air into the early months of 2012. “Kimberly McCullough has decided to pursue her dream of directing full-time, so she has decided to leave GENERAL HOSPITAL as storyline dictates,” says a show spokesperson. “Expect a poignant and must watch storyline for Robin and Patrick.” This announcement comes hot on the heels of the news that Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) has also opted out.

I wonder how she'll go out? Will she get killed by the rumored serial killer next year or will she die from HIV/AIDS complications? I don't know if I could see Robin leaving town with Emma and without Patrick. Or maybe she'll go to jail for killing Lisa.
