I knew she'd probably come back but not this soon.

I grew to like her a lot after her DWTS run and that good will has carried on ever since.

I think Billie is a good character to use for visits and then if they ever want to give her a real story they could always recast again.

I wouldn't mind seeing Krista Allen again.

Well of all the Billies, Lisa Rinna is definitely my favorite. But the role is played out. Please, for the love of God, keep her away from Bo & Hope! It was already old 'n tired in 2002 when she briefly returned, and again in 2004-2005 when Pinson was in the role.

My admiration for Rinna was heightened by seeing her on Celebrity Apprentice, but I hope she doesn't look all weathered and ridiculous like her onscreen brother. And won't she look a tad too old next to Lauren Koslow's Kate, her onscreen mama?

But hey, if we're returning to old-school DAYS from the 1992-1995 era, can we lure Deborah Adair out of retirement too?

As other places are speculating, if Billie must come back (and I hated the character, all incarnations, not that anyone asked or cares), I bet she will be Tan Dan's shoulder to cry on when Jennifer inevitably dumps his orange ass for Jack. Which is uber gross, considering Dan did Billie's own kid AND Billie's mother.

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
