GH: Death at Sea

  • Members

GH is about to kick off a whodunit that finds several PC favorites-Patrick, Robin, Matt, Maxie, Elizabeth, Olivia, Steve, celebrating on a rented party boat, unaware that Lisa Niles is hiding among them in plain sight.

Phelps says "Lisa is out to destroy Patrick & Robin & decides this is a good time to make her move, truth be told, she doesn't like anybody on board"

Lisa's death will be by blunt force trauma-leaves everyone of the passenger's looking guilty. All of them have the means, motive and opportunity to kill her.

This is a story that will play out for months, into early 2012 when we will learn the identity of the killer.

Phelps says "this will become a story about how far people will go to protect the one they love. Couples will be suspecting each other. One character gets a very serious disease as a result of what's happened"

Anthony Zacchara plays a big part in the fall out, given he was the one who revived her with his drugs, and Lisa gets him really good

They sure do love violently killing people, don't they?

Just women.

That list of suspects sounds terribly lame. And frankly Matt, Olivia and Steve are essentially non-entities even with years on the show between them.

Another woman bludgeoned to death with a blunt instrument? Wonderful. I knew there was a reason I tuned out of this show. Memo to Phelps: this is not going to bring back those lapsed viewers you so badly need.

I think a good murder mystery is the best thing a show can do, regardless of whether the victim is a man or a woman.

The sad thing is, this probably won't be a good murder mystery.

Blah I remember how "great" the TMK stuff was supposed to be where the audience was supposed to follow the clues on screen and all they did was kill off 2 legacy female characters for some back from the dead mobster who ended up dying again. At least the mob is not involved unless they have that cartoon AZ running all over this story too.

There were so many hands in that one though, who can say for sure which idiot sank it. That was also a serial killer getting rid of beloved characters so we were already poised to hate it regardless. This doesn't sound like anything horrid. So long as it remains a "hospital" story (ie. with no Sonny and the Mobettes) then it might actually be worth the time.

I think this would be infintely more intriguing if someone went to kill Lisa but accidentally hit Carly instead, confusing the two from the back bc of the blonde hair. Now THAT would be a twist
