I actually think Ryan is a pretty good stock character to have on the show. He is a strong romantic lead more often then he isn't. Most of the couples he has been in have recieved favorable fan reaction it's only Rylee that is the black dot on his transcript. I sure hope they got some heavy hitting vets to resign cause as pretty as Lindsey is I doubt viewers will tune in for just her and Ryan.

I love Ryan, and Cara too, which I didn't think would happen when she was 1st cast.

But I want Tad.

I want Opal.

I want David.

I want Kendall.

I want Erica frickin' Kane yo!.

It's bad enough that we already lost Angie and JR.

Prospect needs to really move their ass on these contracts.

Even though they did save the show....I'm tired of waiting...lol

Vincent's David could count. He's a vet at this point I think. I actually do think if they got Susan, Julia Barr and David Canary along with MEK, Cady McClain things could actually start to shape up and at least in theory look like AMC again. It's clear Slavery is dead and the Hubbards are done. So bring on the vets. Bring on the Martins, make Erica important again, rebuild the Chandlers, Ryan can stay. Cara can be there. Get Griffin in there. Get RPG. Get Colby have Scott replace JR as the Chandler heir along with Bianca and I guess Marissa and you have a cast and a show. Beyond that point you can get others as they are needed and expand afterwards.

Thats part of the issue with AMC though as a whole. Angela mentioned it, as most of the women on this show are good girls now. Where are the schemers and the vixens? AS much as I love Erica and SL her time has passed as the resident bad girl. And Erica has grown out of that. But watch GH and even OLTL. Heck even Y&R and Days. Most of the female characters these days are pretty bland. Of course so are the men to be honest.

This is at least a start, but still very skeptical about this whole thing. I really have enjoyed Lindsey as Cara, she's been refreshing to me so if AMC is to continue I am glad she may be a part of it. Like I've also said though, a show revolving around her is not something I am interested in.
