In honor of the return of Patrick Mulcahey, I can't guarantee this essential scene is his but I feel fairly certain; nonetheless it is a stellar part of his GH tenure, as Luke tells Lucky about his rape of Laura. A masterwork of editing and sound design, and one of the best and most layered, dark pieces of work Tony Geary ever did as Luke clearly either relishes or fetishizes the worst moment in his life he has dreaded returning to. I've been looking for this scene in decent quality for years and this is good enough. It's timestamped; watch to the end.

The closure was announced in September which was where I got up to...I don't think I saw the actual closure but talk of it basically came about as a result of...well I'll let you find that out

Yeah at this point it's basically the Luke and Laura Ice Princess show and the Joe and Heather Diana Taylor murder mystery show. With only a sprinkling of Monica/Alan/Susan and a side dash of Hutch. And speaking of...

Oh gosh that went on for months!

I hated that Laura and Anna's long awaited - by me at least lol - first interaction was Laura seeing Anna kiss Luke.

Hey thanks for answering.

I just need like the last week of June and have to wait for my German source to sent me them over. I would watch them in English but don’t know if there was a preemption June 23rd and June 24th.. Coz I don’t really want to miss the anything right now. May and June are so strong again. Thank god

i don’t know how to quote single sentences. I‘m sorry about that. Yes it became the LnL + Ice Princess + Joe trying to nail Heather for Diana’s murder or find the Killer at all. It’s not bad. Like seriously. But I will tell my feelings about June when I’m completely done with it.

Thank u. In 1980 the disco was used more and the scenes were quite fitting. But in 81 u can tell disco died and those scenes felt so forced and cringe. Nothing like last year.

And yes.. Hutch‘s return was really a mess and went on for too long. His first run ended in the first week of January 81.. He returned in episode 4601 (April 81).. Like I said it wasn’t a bad idea to bring him back. But not for a storyline isolated from the rest of the cast and especially isolated from LnL. Like they didn’t visited him once lol If Hutch would’ve been involved in that Ice Princess Story and be a help to Luke then this would’ve been a successful return. But now? Hell nah. Can’t wait to see where this is going with him. I think Hutch should’ve been what Slick was at that time tbh. That would’ve made sense.

Luke/Anna is something I can tolerate over Luke/Felicia. But there was a scene where AG/Luke had a cold and he and FH/Anna still had to kiss. That gave me nightmares lol

June 1974, enjoy!

Monday, June 3, 1974: Owen suffers a medical crisis - his heart stops.  Henry is concerned that the man who searched in Mai-Lin’s room might return.  Peter has a happy time watching Martha.  Joel tries desperately to get his brother’s heart to function again; Diana is by his side being reassuring and effective; Owen’s heart starts beating and he awakens, reaching for Diana.

Tuesday, June 4: Steve discovers the story Kira did on the government being involved in Mail-Lin’s case was in the morning paper before Kira’s broadcast; Steve realizes he may have been too hasty in criticizing Kira; Jessie reluctantly tells Lesley that she is afraid that Kira might be a disruption to Steve’s life; Steve apologizes to Kira.  Joel tells Diana that Peter and Owen are unfair competition for her affections.

Wednesday, June 5: The ballet troupe manager angrily insists that Mai-Lin be released before the troupe leaves the country.  Steve scolds Howie for having gone to the press about Wallace Baxter.  Lesley tries to clear the air with Augusta, but the hostility between them isn’t easily resolved; their attempted honesty and friendship won’t work.  While sitting with Owen, Peter tells Diana he loves Martha; Diana is greatly moved, but Owen wakes up and tells her how much he needs her as Peter looks on.

Thursday, June 6: Jim has an attitude of false bravado when he tells Lee he is trying to prove that he can survive no longer being able to do surgery; he says he is giving up alcohol.  Joel tells Diana he loves her.

Friday, June 7: Howie tells Steve that Thornton wants a second opinion on Mai-Lin if she isn’t released.  Audrey asks Joel to invite Jim to assist in surgery; Joel is reluctant.  Diana tells Lee she would like to stop the divorce action.

Monday, June 10: Howie sees Jane and Lee together; Steve tells Howie he has no plans to release Mai-Lin.  When Peter asks Lee when the divorce will be finalized, Lee tells Peter to speak to Diana – she swore Lee to secrecy; Peter assumes that the divorce will be finished very soon.  Steve recalls a night he kissed Kira.

Tuesday, June 11: Joel tells Diana he suspects she has been avoiding him since his declaration of love; she denies having deliberately stayed away from him.  Augusta, seeing how glum Peter is, tries to cheer him; when Diana enters Peter’s office to tell him she stopped the divorce,  she sees them together and is disturbed.

Wednesday, June 12: Peter overhears Joel raving about Diana; Peter tells Jessie that he wonders if Joel is part of the reason she is pressing for the divorce.  Steve tells Mai-Lin he is trying to find a safe place for her to stay, but warns her of the risks involved in defecting to America.

Thursday, June 13: Owen asks Joel his chances with Diana; Joel says he has a chance with her as much as anyone.  Diana swears Lesley to secrecy and tells her that she called off the divorce; Lesley urges her to tell Peter immediately as Augusta is trying to make inroads with Peter.  Jim learns that there has been no significant change in his hand; he automatically pours himself a drink.

Friday, June 14: Audrey comes home to find Jim defensive and falsely cheerful; he admits he almost took a drink, and insists that if he was an alcoholic he would be sneaking liquor.  Kira uses a dictation machine to record her thoughts on Mai-Lin’s case; Steve calls and asks her for her help; when Kira asks if it’s about Mai-Lin, Steve says he doesn’t want to discuss it over the phone; Kira promises that whatever he says she will keep confidential.

Monday, June 17: Lucille becomes worried when Audrey calls and tells her Jim is insisting Lucille come over for a drink.  Kira offers to find a way for Mai-Lin to stay safely in the country; she is pleased Steve trusts her.

Tuesday, June 18: Kira asks Steve questions about Mai-Lin in order to plan for getting the girl out of the hospital.  Peter tells Lesley he is low because Diana is proceeding with the divorce; Lesley urges him to tell Diana how he feels; Diana later finds Peter with Augusta and is uptight about it.  Joel tells Diana that Owen is not making progress; Owen tells Diana how glad he is to be alive and credits her for saving him.

Wednesday, June 19: Joel asks Jim for his opinion on Owen’s case.  Lesley tells Lucille she needs a nurse to assist her, but would like anyone but Augusta; Augusta overhears and is bitter; she challenges Lesley, saying that personal feeling ought to be overlooked among professionals.  Jim reports to Joel that surgery is necessary for Owen to improve; when Jim volunteers to assist in the surgery, Joel refuses, leaving Jim offended.

Thursday, June 20: Howie finds Jane looking at the want ads for an apartment.  Kira makes plans for Mai-Lin’s release; she tells Steve she can’t tell him where she is taking Mai-Lin because too many people will be asking questions.  Joel tells Diana there is a good chance Owen will never recover without surgery; Diana is very upset.

Friday, June 21: Steve tells Mai-Lin she is being released tonight.  Peter tells Lesley he has come to his senses and is going to ask Diana to stop the divorce.  As Jessie is helping Mai-Lin leave her room, Henry encounters her and kisses her goodbye; the bodyguard realizes Mai-Lin is gone.

Monday, June 24:  Jessie is bombarded with questions from reporters about Mai-Lin.  Peter tells Lesley he is going to talk to Diana on Friday.  Joel wonders if all of Owen’s work and sacrifice for him has contributed to his heart problem; he tells Lesley that telling Owen what lies ahead is the hardest thing he’s ever done.  The bodyguard angrily tells Steve he will find Mai-Lin.

Tuesday, June 25: Peter overhears Joel ask Diana to go to the lake on Friday; she accepts.  Audrey thanks Joel for including Jim in the medical consultation on his brother; Joel makes it clear that Jim is not to be in Owen’s surgery.  Joel optimistically tells Owen about the options he faces; Owen suspects he is not being told the whole truth.

Wednesday, June 26: Peter tells Diana he has an important reason to see her on Friday; she tells him she will try to change her plans with Joel.  Howie has a press conference to address why Mai-Lin was released at midnight with no forewarning.  Audrey is worried when Jim tells her that Dr. Daniels wants him to assist in Owen’s surgery; Jim says Joel has no choice in the matter.

Thursday, June 27: Joel tells Audrey that someone penciled Jim’s name on Owen’s surgery roster; he says he’s going to make sure it is clarified that Jim is not to be present in the operation.  Howie comes home and lets it be known that he is not in the mood to celebrate his and Jane’s anniversary.  Joel gives it to Jim straight - under no circumstances is Jim to participate in surgery on Owen.

Friday, June 28: Diana tells Joel that Owen distrusts Joel’s optimism on his future.  Kira reassures Steve that Mai-Lin is safe and well; Kira notices a man sitting at a nearby table and wonders if Steve was followed; we see a dragon tattoo on the man’s hand.  Peter comes to Diana’s and they play with Martha; he sits down and tells her that he has something to tell her.

I’d love to see Patrick Mulcahey write for Lucky, but I still don’t see Lucky coming back… unless he’s played by someone from OLTL
