Anyone think PP is holding out on announcing the AMC cast because of the cliffhanger?

At this point it's all web based. The people who are gonna watch AMC online are also people who are on twitter and messageboards finding out which actors are staying which would ruin the big cliffhanger they set up.

That is what I am thinking. Because of the cliffhanger, they would not want to spoil it.

Frankly I don't think it's that big of a cliffhanger that it's worth keeping everybody in the dark. (It was one shot.) I think they just don't have anything.

If so that's completely dumb on their parts because they're the ones who wanted the cliff hanger

To be honest, ALL of the characters can be relevant if someone knew how to fn write them.

Jack certainly CAN be relevant. He's got family other than Erica and he's a lawyer. It's stupid that PP isn't contacting someone who is obviously ready to entertain(and probably accept) an offer. Being a vet makes him *more* attractive to viewers, too, as I feel that AMC needs at least come vets to get with 2.0 in order to interest viewers to watch.

I agree that ANY character can be relevant. I was thinking a lot about AMC today and all of the characters they have from the past that could be used to revitalize the show and recapture the original families. Charlie Brent (and Cecily), Julie Chandler, Ross Chandler, Ellen Dalton, Mark Dalton, Chuck Tyler, Linc Tyler, Kelly Cole, Jeff Martin, Paul Martin, Nina Warner, Bobby Warner, Kelsey Jefferson, Tara Martin ... I know most are probably considered "too old" but if restructured correctly, it would give the core families some veteran stability.

While I want to see AMC try to go in somewhat of a new/old direction (by new/old I don't mean Sex and the City, etc) it would seem foolish, if we get a bunch of newbies, not to have many of them be recasts of existing characters in the AMC universe--rather than brand new characters/families.

Threatning is not cool but she should know not to tweet like that

Wow, that PR girl from Regis and Kelly resigned!

http://daytimeconfid..._medium=twitter

Jaymey is such a joke--just his writing style churns my stomach, and ending with (and I'm sure he meant this in all seriousness) "godspeed"? wacko.png

That said, WOW I never expected such a reaction--I didn't know she got threats. I feel bad she had to resign--an apology should have been enough, but it was STUPID for her to tweet that and not think.

I feel bad for her. She shouldn't have had to lose her job over this and it took guts for her to admit it. She has a right to her opinion but she should have never tweeted the way she did. Still not worth resigning for when people like Brian Frons live on.

Especially as it sounds like she's not directly connected to ABC but works independantly--but I guess it was her choice. But I agree--anbd yes Frons and others have said far more insulting things without thought.

I think she most likely resigned because it was a really stupid statement to make due to the place she is in. It could follow her around as a big career blunder if she let it get more out of hand. She's a publicist, but not only is she a publicist, she was currently a publicist for a show that has a former soap opera - and All My Children - star as a host.

I'll never get threatining people though. That's also really dumb.
