E! Soap Opera Reality Show

Oh boy, what to say about this reality show....

First of all, the editing of their sound bytes is way too choppy. There were multiple instances (usually Farah's) where you could tell the natural flow of their speaking was all chopped up.

Yeah, I'd feel bad for Farah's number one fan, too (boy, what an awful choice of celebrity to idolize!) because you know Farah is just not genuine.

Kirsten Storms. Yup, I'd definitely bet money that her current GH absense = rehab.

Galen & Jenna = Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I mean really, after 12 years in the business, she's giving him grief for doing a love scene? Really??

Brandon Beemer is almost *too* good looking it's insane. I don't know what Nadia's mother's issue is, other than her not thinking *any* man is good enough for her daughter.

I think it's funny that they're doing this whole getting-over-the-ex story with Kelly Monaco when someone else said they've been split up for some 2 years now? Haha good grief.

JPL, I've never had a problem with him. I think he's adorable and don't mind his acting. He is the spitting image of his mother, but damn that woman loves to shine in her son's spotlight. I still get the gay vibe, but whatevs.

Overall, I find the show very forced and contrived. The first episode was intersting (minus Galen/Jenna) but the 2nd was snoozeville. I don't have an issue with Galen Gering, I just find his storyline pointless. It's fun to see the behind-the-scenes at the soaps though. And they are clearly keeping mum on Farah Fath's ongoing presence on OLTL. Me thinks she'll be doing more than just ghostly visits before the show wraps up.

I think Kristen is the most likeable because she's not trying the hardest to be loved by the audience. And her step-nephew Lyric -- that little kid is adorable.

Not surprisingly, FF comes across as bitchy and fake. Mind you, so does JPL's mother. If I was a guy and had these two harridans fighting over me, I'd prob turn to men, too.

Fary is a STAR. She may be cray-cray but without her, this show would be DOA.

I agree that Kristen is the most likeable, and genuine... from what we've seen. I try not to be too quick to judge on shows like these. Galen's kids are a trip. And little Lyric cracked me up when he said, "We had such fun times with that man."

I noticed that too, horrible. I think at times they're mixing different audio clips to make entirely new thoughts.

I knew that Austins girl was with Ashely parker Angel from OTOWN! I loved OTown! And Kirsten dated Erik Michael, thats how she met her. I think Lyric is APA's son. She was on his MTV reality series a few years ago. Anyways, she tweeted that Kirsten is doing better, so thats good.

It was so sad to see them goodbye to Austin.

I felt for Beemer. Nadias mom is a piece of work. I also kind of feel for Farrah. JPL acts like a kid and his mom treats him like one. Walk away girl, because he aint worh the work or the drama his mama will bring!

I think the show should just be half an hour long. One hour is too long.

I watched the reality with Ashley Parker Angel. It's weird to see Lyric now grown up.

Was Ashley the blond one, the lead singer? Wow, I remember their reality show, the original "Making the Band" before Piddy got it in his triflant hands. It had that guy Lou who I guess we now know was a major creep. Their big song was "Allllll for Lovvvvvve", right? And there was a guy named (phonetically) uh-KYE-kuh who left the group during the reality show? I think their show was one of the first post-TGIF shows to air on ABC Friday nights. And weren't they on AMC too, with Alexis Manta Amanda? It's all coming back...

I wonder how the 2nd show did in the ratings. E! is switching Kendra and Dirty Soap next week so Dirty Soap will be on at 10:30.
