Haha, well they then asked her about the rumors and how she proclaimed they were absolutely false... only to be surprised that they weren't. She genuinely believe those were rumors - she went into detail about that on The Talk.

But yeah, she was asked point blank how the show will end, and she said Agnes and LB are back, but it's still up in the air as to whether it will really end... she said "maybe not on ABC". But then she did say later at the end of the interview that tons of fan favorites are coming back.

Great episode today!

I loved how Amanda couldn't stop lying to Jake and the nurse filled him in later.

I've been waiting awhile for the show to finally go there with Marissa/Bianca so I'm glad there was some momentum.

Jack/Janerica are entertaining since she obviously has never been romanced before. I almost felt sorry for her, especially when she had to remind herself in the hospital that Bianca isn't really her daughter.

Yup, and she nailed it!

Very creepy line, but perfect for Ricky. It reminded me of that jewelry store commercial with the couple in the cabin during the thunderstorm, which I always thought came off creepy instead of romantic. :)

I think Jane's trying not to get too close to Erica's kids in case she says the wrong thing to them.

Maybe after she shoots Ricky, she hears a noise behind her and just reacts by pulling out the syringe and injecting the guy, then realizes it's Griffin!

Yes, that's exactly what made those scenes not work for me. She needed to tone it down a good 90% to grieve for her brother instead.

I like SL and AN but I think they are a little delusional about the show's chance of going somewhere else. Where would it go? No network wants a new soap opera and many can't afford them and if they go to cable they will lose a ton of viewers.

LMFAO! He's moved up though, they're finally out of her purse.

I liked the Bianca scenes a lot. It makes sense something like this would trigger her memories of the rape. I thought the Minx stuff was good too. I think Marissa will likely make a more convincing bisexual/lesbian than Maggie ever did.

I actually felt bad for Jane when she teared up at Jack romancing her. But then I thought of Erica in that panic room type thing, and I wanted to cut the cow. LOL

I would normally agree with you except...

Neither Agnes nor Sulu is a novice to the realities of the television industry. Both of these women know all too well what obstacles the show and the genre faces. This isn't Robin Strasser tweeting nonsense in a percodan and white widow-fueled haze. (Much love Robin!) They are successful businesswomen. That's the ONLY part of this that makes me pause. Personally I think that Susan and Agnes aren't so much trafficking in false hope as they are 1.) speaking metaphorically about AMC not coming to an end and 2.) looking at every option to keep the show going be it on the web or as telenovela style show on some cable network or as the world's first animated soap on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. (Which I would LOVE!)

If there's the tiniest chance AMC could survive in some form, Lucci and Nixon can make that happen. For the record, I may be a cynical, soap hating bitch but if there's hope for AMC, I can and will go into "Save Friday Night Lights" mode. I was big into that campaign and I promise you, I took notes. LOL!

Your new member title?

Yeah, it is a little difficult to tell what the deal is with these two ladies as I am sure they are aware of the realities. As was said in the other thread, this may merely be their way of being polite and respectful of the feelings of their loyal fans, while keeping hope alive as Agnes and her people (daughters and grandchildren?) really are exploring the next wave of serialized storytelling on the net or even cable. If the people behind the soaps are truly passionate about them, they won't make excuses and they won't let them die. And that's not even about making them lucrative or on network television, it's about making them excellent, undeniably watchable, and still in damn existence.
