I know what you're referring to. It reminds me of the time Another World did this with Rachel/Justine. When I saw the promos for that storyline I thought it was a desperate move and I remember saying to myself that if All My Children did that with Erica, it would be the end of the world.

Looks like Rev. Ricky go+ his mop +hinned ou+. Frankly, Griffin is only a smidge less of a creep in my book. When he and Kendall hugged i+ looked like he wan+ed +o suck her hair.

Wha+ I am wondering is wha+ in +he hell is gonna happen +o +he REAL Erica when Jane is +he one rescued. Is one of +he henchman going +o keep her cap+ured? I guess i+ is safe +o say +ha+ she will no+ have amnesia and roam +he ear+h because she is Erica Kane af+erall.

Yes, but no one was presumed dead then. Death brings out the ho.

She still has yet to care that the heart inside her chest is from her brother that Zach intentionally murdered. Her mother being kidnapped? Oh, pishaw. Small potatoes.

An evil twin for Erica? Yep. We've officially run out of things for La Kane to do. (Good timing, though, what w/ the cancellation and all.)

I'm sure I'll be the minority but I loved today's show and watched almost all of it for the first time in ages.

I thought SL did a credible job as the two Erica's. I thought she gave Jane just enough difference to know which one was which and the dialogue was fluid and didn't jump around like some twin/double scenes do. The bomb stuff had some build up and even Caleb was good today.

I loved Erica's ransom video and Jack's face as he watched it :wub: Okay, so I haven't watched the last two days because I've been pissed about what he was doing, but I wanted him to feel guilt along with worry and fear and I think he did. The yelling for one another; her continual declarations of love for Jack while Caleb heard every word, filled me with joy  It was good old fashioned campy soap opera and if we had more of this over the years we wouldn't be facing EK's last storyline right now.

Great Kendall/Binks; and Kendall/Griffin. Ricky scared me too today and I worry what he is going to do to Binks.

I didn't watch any of the Ryan stuff. I didn't want him to taint what was a great day of AMC for me. Can't wait to see what Steve thought since he is a Jerica fan like me

Jane is awesome! And her hair is nice! I'll keep her for a bit. Not gonna be so much fun when the good people who love her start to buy the con, but right now...Jane campy goodness! LOL

I loved her doing that spin.

    • Very disappointed in the writers in the way they are screwing with Nicole, Ted,  and Kat to make Leslie remain viable. So many holes everywhere.
    • Somebody brought this up elsewhere which emphasizes why this NuTed appears as such a weakling? Why is Kat doing what HE should be doing? And that's everything he can to rid him and his family of this crazy woman. Kat is doing all kinds of things she shouldn't do but now I understand her more. She can't count on her father to eliminate this woman because he's a wimp. He's been too busy inviting her into his home and serving her drinks and offering her invitations to birthday parties. WIMP!!!!

    • This is (maybe) overly simplistic and nonsoapy, but Doug needs to go to Gamblers Anonymous, to deal with the addictive neurological excitement hits that gambling gives him - and which control his life. Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her.
    • YT keeps commending GL clips to me. I discovered Kathleen Cullen was on in Christmas 1987. Was there any talk of making it permanent  or was this just a special visit? I wish they had made the visit permanent. I liked her chemistry with Grant Aleksander.
    • I'm not sure it's as unpopular as you think.  I just think the show knew they were in a bind, and needed a proven couple for the viewers to invest in. Trying to reunite Vanessa and Ross had just failed in 87. I don't think Ed and Holly's affair was well received, as Simon and Garrett had a brother/sister chemistry. Enter Billy and Vanessa, who give you history and an out not to try and do a Josh/Reva/Billy triangle, which would've really wrecked the relationship between Josh and Billy. I'd have been ok with trying Vanessa/Ross again, and doing a Vanessa/Ross/Holly/Billy quad for a while. I hated Nadine. HATED. She had to be the most insufferable also-ran before ATWT's Julia Lindsay. This is where I wish I knew Roger's history better.

    • GROSS. Michael Swan was hot back in his ATWT days. Now he's 76 and WAY past his hot years.
    • Since she kidnapped, locked up and tried to kill her father's wife I'd say that is still a pretty big deal
    • I'm good with the gushing, too. There aren't many soap icons like John Black, and that's important to celebrate and remember. And yes, life does go on for other characters, but as they say, timing is everything. Going sky diving the day before the funeral? And during a week of shows that were so powerful emotionally? No.
