Members Carolyn1980 Posted May 6, 2011 Members Share Posted May 6, 2011 It's ironic that Brian Frons said ABC really wanted to find women 18-34 viewers in daytime during many of his interviews about the soap replacements, and now OLTL is beating GH in that particular demo. There is absolutely no way ABC will keep GH beyond Sept 2012 with these ratings. They're just not good enough. And in the meantime, look for major cast cuts on the doomed show. It was nice to see all the different family feuds, etc. put aside and everyone as all the primaries rallied to come together. An expected umbrella story that pulled in Nick and Bill in ways I wouldn't have guessed. I only hated the Brooke/Tom hallucinations, but whatever. The rest of it was quite well done. I hope OLTL will go out with some dignity and not in last place. That is all I ask. Y&R (the one soap that COULD be excellent) is absolute garbage but I will tune in to see Genie Francis.
