Cady McClain Back to AMC

Soap Opera Digest has learned that Cady McClain will be back in Pine Valley as Dixie before the show's September finale — and that the deal to bring her back was in the works before the show's cancellation. McClain's last appearance (as Dixie's spirit) was in 2010, when Dixie welcomed Palmer to heaven in April.

Will she be dead or alive? Interesting that this was possibly being planned before AMC's cancellation.

I'm glad to hear she'll be returning, likely for Tad. This better be the first of many returns.

I hope her appearance is as an animated picture or something. Tad glances at a framed portrait of Dixie, she winks, says "Chicken fingers" and then freezes back in place. That's the only way I can take it now.

The theory actually came to me after I drank a bottle of wine last night and then dreamt about AMC, lol

For the love of god, let her be an apparition and don't tie her to Zack. Cady's desire to work with Thorsten last go-around was a big reason her return failed.

Yeah, it will be pretty much meaningless to me at this point unless she's in the flesh, but I don't think they have the time necessary to undo that plot point. Probably some chipmunk AJ tries to nurse back to health will die and she'll make sure Chippy gets through the big gates, in designer threads of course.
