Erin had a quiet, mature grace and steel which contrasted very well with Melissa's fire, especially near the end of her tenure.

I often wonder how Jessica would have fared if Erin hadnt quit.  She had a more mature, townboy edge that makes me think that the whole Tess/Bess story would have turned out differently.

Bree's early take was fiesty...yet had a more sensual/sexual undertone that writers took note of..and went too far with it...especially Ron.

This may have been posted before, but here is a 1998 interview with Sela Ward where she discusses being at the real Studio 54 and playing in the film. They also show a few short clips of her on OLTL circa 1978/79.

I am not sure who Margaret Whitton played on One Life to Live, but she has passed away.

I have read today that she was also on The Doctors (Joan Dancy in 1967) and on Search for Tomorrow (role unknown).

There would never have been a Tess story with Erin.

This. Not a chance.

I understand why Erin left--she had been on the show since she was 8 or 9 years old. She spent all of her teen years on the show. I'm sure she wanted a break. But it certainly hurt the character of Jessica immensely, and unfortunately, I feel like Erin has been forgotten in a way compared to other long time soap kids like Kristen or KMc on GH (of course, in a way, I would say that happened to Amber Tamblyn once she left GH, too).

The only thing most remember about Kirsten Storms now is her many personal problems. I'd say Erin is better off not having that.

I meant Kristen Alderson! LOL.

Ah. Well I think she's remembered more as someone who stayed a bit too long (which she eventually likely realized, to her credit).

I asked this in the Video thread--so excuse me for asking it again, but youtube used to have a 1969 episode of OLTL that's long gone.  Did anyone happen to save it?  I believe it had to do with Meredith Lord.
