Members R Sinclair
I'm just glad to read/hear something other than "the fans are on fire!"
Members Scotty
He is the president of Worldwide Media and Entertainment. And he is the producer of the Daytime Emmy Awards, among other television shows and specials. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0739038/

Members marceline
That's one expression I never need to hear again. "This show is on fire!" "Actress X is on fire!" It's like a curse. It's the soap equivalent of "What could possibly go wrong?"
Members DRW50
But is the roof on fire?

Members dragonflies
As always, expect special honors: Oprah receives the TV Academy's Crystal Pillar Award, while veteran game-meisters Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek get Lifetime Achievement trophies. But don't look for any big, weepy farewells to AMC and OLTL. "We'll do something very special to acknowledge what's happened — something the fans are really going to love," McKenzie says. "But these soaps are still on the air and they'll both qualify for Daytime Emmys in 2012. We are not ready to say goodbye." http://www.tvguide.com/News/Daytime-Emmys-David-McKenzie-1033811.aspx
Members marceline
The fact that the 2012 Daytime Emmys will probably be held in a Denny's in West Virginia doesn't matter.
Members DRW50
If previous Emmy mentions are any indication, we will see a four second cast shot before they cut to Regis Philbin mouthbreathing.

Members dragonflies
Read that in SOD it says that Lorraine Broderick wanted to stay HW last year, but the show didn't want her. Wow. She brought up ratings, yet they didn't want her? WTF? Frons truly was trying to kill this show. NOthing else makes sense to bring in show killers
Members alexisfan07
That is beyond depressing. God ABC is so worthless.
