I don't want him to say anything. I want all of the AMC actors to stay under the radar. Let the loons and famewhores do their thing.

He's not going to say anything until Oprah decides whether to revive Bonanza.

Okay I'm reading that NBC is taking calls about AMC & OLTL

What do you mean by "taking calls?"

Next you'll have Robin trashing NBC daytime for not taking AMC & OLTL.

It came up in my twitter feed, they're taking calls & emails

I doubt it means much cause Hershey did the same thing

That may mean "Please watch our shows! We hate ABC, really, we do. If we throw an egg at Frons will you get your family to watch Chuck??"

I think it would be possible if the soap was heavily pared down to the core element that would make it a success. The problem is that most likely, these shows being pared down would mean even more of their worst characters who helped drive viewers away in the first place.

That's what should have been done years ago when the ratings first started to fall, downsize soaps and consider a different sort of schedule. That wouldn't have made the current soaps last forever, but it might have kept genre alive.

Someone threw out a great idea before....

What if both shows stayed in production...On a bi-weekly basis?

One week, five new eps of AMC....NExt week, five new eps of OLTL...etc, etc.

Through promos, recaps, etc. it would be easy to continue. It would also allow people to watch TWO shows in the time of one.

robinstrasser If true "you only hurt the 1 you love" then: "you can only b hurt by people you love". I apologize to Oprah. I was sad, then mad, my bad.

That's alot of salaries and bills to pay for just one time slot. It would be significantly cheaper to just keep one of the shows on the air.

Kudos to her. We trashed her for attacking Oprah and it should be noted that she was woman enough to apologize.

I doubt it, although the ratings are not too far below NBC primetime.
