Members Vee
My hopes are mostly for some more recent people, but a few of the old guard, like Michael Storm, Judith Light and yes, Ellen Holly. I won't ask for Doris Belack, Marilyn Chris (is she still alive?) or Brynn Thayer. I'd really appreciate it if Carla came in on one of her dayplayer grandkids' arms, or with Al Freeman, or all of the above. As for Andrea Evans, I think she will show up. I don't think they could keep her away, and I personally would like her back for at least several months or weeks.
Members Scotty
I didn't realize that Doris Belack was 85. I would have thought maybe she was in her 70s or something. And Marilyn Chris is still alive...she is 72. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marilyn_Chris

Members Gray Bunny
I could definitely see that happening... (Pause) Thank you. (reminiscent of her appearance at the 2003 Daytime Emmys) (Pause) Thank you. ;-)
Members DRW50
But you can't own a leather jacket if you're gay! Now I want to see John in a Cruising-style storyline, as Frons turns beet red.
Members Khan
Well, I wouldn't want it to be the final scene - that honor should go to Viki and Dorian - but I think it'd be cute and tongue-in-cheek if looked like John and Todd-not-Todd were hooking up toward the end. RH's Todd (AKA the "Real" Todd) is back with Blair; Faux Todd (or "Fodd") thinks he'll be with Tea, but Tea says, "No thanks"; and John and Nat have called it quits. Then, with everyone around 'em huggin' and cryin', "Fodd" reaches over, takes John's head in his hands, and kisses him. "Fodd" pulls back, and it's just the two staring straight ahead. (Beat.) Fodd (straight-faced): That wasn't so bad. John (equally straight-faced): No. That wasn't. ;-)
Members DaytimeFan
I wonder if Robin Strasser will make it to the finale? She's taking no prisoners on Twitter, I have to wonder if Frons will insist that she get the axe?

Members Y&RWorldTurner
Or he could mandate that they treat her like a dayplayer/extra in the finale, much like the way Eileen Fulton was disrespectfully treated on ATWT's finale.
Members Khan
Even worse, we'll see Dorian only once during the finale, and that's her coming up from giving David another blow-job.
Members LoyaltoAMC
Don't get me started on Eileen Fulton. I felt terrible for her. I watched the last ATWT episode for the first time a couple of months ago, and it was a crime the way Lisa was used only to bicker with John and Lucinda. She should've been in those Casey goodbye scenes and have shared that last scene with Bob and Kim instead of Susan. Supposedly they had Eileen doing more, but then someone ordered her airtime reduced to those couple of scenes with Liz and Larry. Not sure if was Goutman or someone at the network. She was the original diva, long before anyone even heard of Lucci and Erica, and she should've been given some closure. It was almost as if they went out of their way NOT to give her any meaningful closure. That really sucked.
Members Khan
Well, at least they didn't have Lisa leave in a pickup truck. Thank God for that.
Members SFK
I think he knows he's hated enough already to pull some dirty [!@#$%^&*] like that, but if she did get the boot, that crafty Frank and Ron would whip up her finale scenes and save them in the can until the end. Members marceline
A wonderful piece in Salon.com saying goodbye to Erica Kane. Goodbye, Erica Kane, feminist pioneer I easpecially like this quote: Also, the author joines the NPR show Tell Me More's "Beauty Shop" panel to discuss the cancellation of AMC in the first segment. They bring up some really good points about why telenovelas are so popular. You can listen to it here: http://www.npr.org/2011/04/20/135570326/beauty-shop-soaps-opera-idols-and-mental-illness (Transcript pending)
