No, she wouldn't have. Plenty of people with only "five days worth of good material" have submitted themselves for pre-noms too.

Also, she had about six months of good material before she started dating/pursuing Sonny.

Oh you're right, PLENTY of people who submitted themselves made themselves look like damn fools. I'm glad Dahlia didn't. I'm not gonna lie, I liked her when she first came on. But IMO, anyone could have played Claire. Yes, Dahlia was good...But it wasn't a broad role. She played a strict prosecutor....Anyone could do that. There wasn't really anything challenging about the role. I respect Dahlia, and I think she did shine in scenes with Lucky and Diane, but they didn't do NEAR enough with her for her to get an emmy nom, IMO.
